Default New convertible Rescue Bot toy - Blurr

This one snuck in there as a complete surprise.
Just found in Hong Kong with the new Rescue Bots Optimus is a Rescue Bots Blurr - a dark blue & white race car.

This begs the question - what happened to Salvage the dumptruck?
It was supposed to be the case-mate to the new Optimus toy, to come out after the Chase/SUV & Boulder/dumptruck wave (which was out late last year).

Too early to tell yet, but either Salvage has been held back or cancelled, and Blurr was pushed up the schedule to be released in its place.... or, the Salvage wave was released already (and somehow nobody saw it or reported it) and this is the next wave after that.

It will be interesting to see what online dealers like Entertainment Earth and BBTS do with this as they list up pre-orders of Rescue Bots toys, so they will either be updating the Salvage wave with Blurr instead, or eventually post up new pre-orders for the next wave with Blurr in it.

Hmmm, a mystery.... but not of the same calibre of the future Combiners mystery.

That particular "size class" of Rescue Bots toys only has the official name of "Robots", which isn't descriptive enough.
Last year they were called "Rescan Robots", but it wasn't the official name of that size class, and eventually it might be dropped again.

Since most Rescue Bots toys are non-convertible (figurines, titans, playsets), mentioning "convertible" without noting "electronic" should just refer to that one size class of Rescue Bots toys.
All that just to limit confusion.

Looks like Baymax in purple armour.

Looks like Salvage should still be coming, at least, according to the co-sells on the packaging for the Elite Heatwave toy that just came out in America (Seibertron mistakenly calls it a new Elite Salvage toy, but is just the regular one that was part of this size class). It's just a matter of when.

Well there you go... Salvage has been released in America, and maybe Blurr is the next wave (which Asia often gets a month or so before America).

    Ignore my concern and panicking...
