Default Anyone else have a faulty Victorion?

I busted out my Victorion last week and had trouble transforming Pyra Magna (the core Voyager) into robot mode, as the knees wouldn't lock in like Hotspot or Onslaught. I got out Onslaught and found that the joining "knee" piece were backwards on Pyra Magna, preventing the leg from being completely straight, as the pointy tabs are supposed to be on the back, not on the front.

Anyone else have this problem, as it seems a bit odd that both legs would be mis-assembled on the one toy and it not be a common or frequent occurrence.

Looks like it is a common thing, as I found people commenting on it on the TFW feedback topic from this post onwards.

A real shame that the much hyped fan-vote toy failed to meet QC standards. That mould can still stand without locking the knees, but it can fall over a lot more easily.

Could those tabs be sanded down without affecting the figure?

I've heard about this on at least 2 different podcasts, it's very common unfortunately, I'm yet to open mine up, perhaps I should do that this weekend.

Yes, both Bludgeon and Pyra-Magna look to have been wrongly assembled with their knees... but at least they can still stand, but some poses can have trouble balancing.

I looked in to reasssembling the legs on my Pyra Magna but it's a pretty hazardous operation and there is a pin that has a closed end. getting it out would require drilling into the plastic to then allow another pin to push the pin out of the leg.

In the end I decided to leave it as it is. It's not overly frustrating and with the heel spurrs that have been added since Hotspot it is more stable anyway.
