    Finally Fortress Maximus IS arrived with Master Sword!

    The Sound effect was so cool with the theme song of Japanese "The Transformers: Headmasters".

    is it true the legs no longer open up? Heard that TT glued them together...

    Yes, the legs no longer open up.
    It doesn't look like glue, like heat the plastic and attach together!

    it's glued, a lot of collectors in HK got them open after lots of heat (hair dryer) and lots of forcing.... kinda do it at your own risk scenario

    I got this a few days ago, and must say I am really underwhelmed by it.
    While the robot mode looks good, no effort was put into the 'alt' mode at all. All the play features from Metroplex have been removed, and none of the play features from the G1 toy were incorporated.
    This is one of the rare instances of the G1 toy being better than the update.

    Glad I decided to pass. The hasbro one was the one that made my decision easier.

    I have heard that the takara version is made of better materials so it is much heavier than the hasbro version. The joints are more tight as well. Not sure if it is true?

    quite possibly just unconscious justification for the extra price there?

    I'm still waiting for mine, but got a good price at PC with a $65 points code, so 'm happy with what I paid
