    Default Spring for G1 Jetfire

I am trying to repair my mate's G1 Jetfire. The screw with a built in washer came out and the arm came off. There was also a spring which is stiff but with only about two turns it it.

I have the little black ratchet circle from the arm.

I have included the photo below of what I need which is still on the left arm. My question is where is a good place to look for these kinds of springs? I don't think Bunnings will be much help.

I reckon your best bet is to try and source a junker Jetfire from somewhere, to scrap for parts. Hopefully you should be able to get one inexpensively as the outer condition of the toy is unimportant. I know a guy who might have one, I'll message him and get back to you.

    PM sent.

Can you confirm though it is not one of the springs from out of your own shoulder?

    Thanks

My shoulders aren't made from metal and plastic
    Although one has been reconstructed.
All good mate, I got bits and pieces of toys all over the house.
