yeah i saw the new avenger sets at tru on the weekend and they look to have a poor value for money. its crazy how much we price gouged here.

but they do look really nice though. really want ironman and the wolverine/magneto set.

Big W have the Star Wars Jedi Fighter on clearance for $100.

Was somewhat tempted but can anyone recommend?

If it is this one, I would buy it, even though I have one alright. The US price is about $100 anyway.

I absolutely loved the build. It is a fantastic set.

Look at some more pictures first.
Some complained that the astromech head is too large.
Although the price is tempting, considering it used to be $140 during it's first release and all it took was a year and a half.

Nabbed the daredevil, rock chick, hippie, nerd and aztec warrior.

The Aztec warrior has to be the easiest figure produced to feel in the bag, his headdress is very distinctive. Space Marine and Neptune were very difficult to feel out (thus why I didn't end up with either!)

Don't rely on the indents this time around, they are very difficult to see on the red plastic.

Turns out I forgot I still owned these. I used to collect space lego when I was a kid, at my peak owned 152 sets. But as the all to common story goes, your mum decides one day that you have outgrown them and 'poof'... gone forever The walker belonged to my brother before he gave it to me, so its gotta be pushing 30 years old.

Behold, all that remains of my once MIGHTY lego collection...

Awesome.. i love that old stuff. and boxed too! and uc xwing
i've still got the medium ship and the small walker that were part of that blacktron series but no boxes.. (i always wanted that car)
