    Default Summer heat.

It's so hot the rub signs are activating on my army build junkions.

Are you guys coping? Are your little plastic friends surviving the heat?
I'm not really looking to get answers. I just wanted a place to vent, share tips on staying cool and protecting what is possibly our third most expensive investment.

Was quite hot here last week. Rubsigns all revealed, it came and went. Just really didn't move or talk while I was. Just closed the curtains to protect them from direct heat.

Close the blinds during the day when we're not there and all is sweet. Thanks to K-Rudd I got in on the free insulation so my house doesn't get that hot until late afternoon. By then usually the wife or I are home and the A/C gets a crank while I usually head for a swim

the heat up here is snapping all of the rubber bands in my vintage GI joes. the young fella left 1 of his cars outside for a couple of hours and it turned yellow down 1 side.

I got a wax sculpture oh my hand doing the horns from Madame Tussades in the city a number of months ago. I got home from the shops the other day and saw that it had melted to a wax pile.

Half of our airconditioning conked out at work today & you could see the sweat dripping off some of the staff, some even looked like they were going to pass out.
There's a nice breeze, so its not too bad at home right now.

Not too bad here. Don't need aircon, just a fan.

    We had a 40 & 43 degree day here last week. This week coming is 30, 35, 37, 37, 37

Hope it's better than last January when we had in Swan Hill 8 days straight in the 40's, then 1 day at 37, then back up to the 40's for another three days Was barely able to keep my little farm alive!
