    Default Workplace Information laws

Hi, my work uses a third party to run their payroll but no one can talk to these company without being an authorized contact. So if I have a query I have to go to HR who then send it on to the company.

Is there any workplace laws that state I should be able to contact the payroll company directly in regards to my payroll?

Is there a union/federation rep (or similar equivalent) you can consult?

Not really, but HR finally came through and got their A into G. HR are all based in the US so they don't seem to have as much care for the staff like Aus/NZ company's.
