Looks fantastic, I really can't wait for this one. And it's done by a different developer, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the gameplay and level designs are like.

I think Activision specialise in shameless cash-ins.

Looks kinda weird to mine eyes with the two different aesthetics there, but if the gameplay and story provide enjoyable gaming, I'll get it. Hell, I'll get it regardless...

Be rather nice if it's like a follow-on from FOC and only one section, almost like a what if sorta thing. The possibilities are endless..

Even though it recycled a ton of material, FoC was an improvement on WfC in both gameplay and story (though those who love a heavily scripted campaign with impressive cut scenes and monologues might debate the story part).

Hell I'd jump on board if it offers just the gameplay

HMS were the studio that developed the game. Activision bankrolled it. So if it's still an Activision game you can expect more of the same as FOC as the 'cash grab' side of it wasn't HMS doing. Just look at any other recent Activision title.

Damn it I like my WfC/FoC games and dislike the movie games! I generally hate when things are smushed together in a way i cannot separate. I was a happy gamer who could ignore the game-movieverse. My initial thoughts are that i'd rather not play it.

Going by the screen shots and the fact its on the old consoles I'd say they are still using UE3. UE4 looks so much better and doesn't have that odd lighting the UE3 does.

You're only talking about the Single Player Campaign. As a whole product, it isn't as good as WFC. This is also taking into account that its a sequel.

the SP was pretty good, and while i missed the co-op campaign, the new gameplay and story aspects did make up for that.

MP however was one big clusterf#$%. WFC's MP is still the best of any Transformers game. FoC's MP... I hate to bring it up again but Escalation was shit. set characters which did not let people get creative with teams and teamwork. No Dinobots or any new characters and no new maps. The other MP part was full of dlc for character skins which also included characters that were already on disc as evidenced by escalation. No new maps and lots of nerfing and they removed female TFs too. After a while the game became pretty stagnant and a lot of the people I'd met, went back to WFC.

HMS can go suck it. Even though Activision bankrolled it, HMS didn't do a good enough job with FoC and they should have pushed for it instead of moving on to make deadpool...

HMS had two teams. The team that made WFC and FOC and the team that made DOTM and Deadpool. The second team, the one that made Deadpool has been laid off. The first team, the one that made WFC and FOC is working on something that hasn't been announced. Also Activision owns HMS, they just get their marching orders from Activision and have to go with it.
