    Default Mega 5 Step Megatronus

    http://www.toysrus.com.au/transforme...ronus_1181150/

    From Toys R Us $60.
Looks to be the Mega 1 Step Optimus Prime's counterpart.
    Looks pretty good IMO

I think you mean the Mega 3 Step Optimus.

It looks okay, don't think it has hip or shoulder articulation though.

It's global news for being the first reveal of this toy in the world, so I've moved this to the main news section.

This toy is referred to as the "Ultra" Megatronus on the RID game app, and you can scan the code on the box photo if you haven't already unlocked that character.
It's an unusual situation to have all the toys of the Decepticon leader in a show only being available to one store chain... and not a major chain at that to allow for more units to be produced to cut down its cost of production. (like Stinger toys at Walmart - more stores means more units, which can mean cheaper per unit to produce and sell to Walmart)

Well... that Optimus toy may be called 3-step, but after playing with it, and looking at the transformation on the front of the box, it is really only a 1-step that Hasbro wanted to make sound better.

Surely the fwwr steps the better as far as Hasbro is concerned for these toys? I reckon if they could have called it Mega One Step, they would have.

We're going to see this mould come out as a RID Shockwave at some point aren't we? That tank is very Transformers Prime Shockwave, although after having just watched the final ep of season 1 it does look better than the cartoon made it out to be. Nice touch to include the "staff".

Megatron is back? Well duh his name is Megatronus what do you people expect?

PS I am aware that Megatronus is the Fallen but would the average person know that?
I'll update this when I'm needing help finding particular figures

And now I'm waiting for the Warrior class version of this, which I hope does come out (if ever)

A person who finds a public website can be credited for finding it, but only if they are a member of that site and was the one posting it on that site. TFW2005 only noted you in their news posting because I made a point of mentioning that I didn't find it myself, so that I wasn't seen to be claiming credit for someone else's work.
