That's pretty crazy. When I got my wife to laybuy Max and Vic yesterday, they had plenty of Vic, but Max was selling well they said

Its really good that people are buying these larger expensive transformers showing that customers will purchase these and at decent prices (not looking at a major toy store ).

I reckon other contributing factors to Fort Max's superior popularity over Victorion's would be:
* Character history. Fort Max has been ingrained in the psyche of Transformer fans since 1987, whereas more casual fans are more likely to look at Victorion and think, "Who the hell is that?!"
* Fort Max's colours aren't an eyesore.

Just wanted to say thanks so much for posting that deal. My Titan Fort Max arrived from mighty ape last friday, I was away for the weekend and could not pick up till monday, finally unboxed him today. Very happy!

Apparently it will return to Big W for the Christmas Toy sale in October...
