An extensive remould of Skydive rather than an entirely new mould, but due to plastic colour and painjob, you have to look pretty close to tell.

His legs and lower arms are basically the same as Skydive - only slightly different texturing on his forearms - as are his weapon and hand/foot piece, while the head, torso and front-half jet parts are entirely new.

The wings are fun, kind of reminds me of the classics Jetfire mould, can be repositioned as required for different flight modes, though the exposed arms kinda hurt this play ability.

Summary: Tough to say which is a better version, Skydive or Air Raid, so just buy both and build Superion!

With Air Raid now here, the Hasbro Superion looks pretty good. But will definitely be interesting to see how the Takara version turns out with Slingshot replacing the odd-one-out in Alpha Bravo!

Air Raid is definitely my favourite of the 4 Deluxe Hasbro Aerialbots. I just seem to prefer the black look over the grey and red of Skydive and Firefly.

This guy looks to easily be the best Aerialbot. That white, that headsculpt and paint apps look cool. Has anyone got a picture of him with the plane bits in the jet on a robot position, like the cartoon? It's my favourite part pf AR.

Not sure what you mean there? You mean just a pic of the back kibble in bot mode?

Also a note you can plug the hand/foot accessory as well as his gun on the side of both his arms

Yeah, just with the kibble in regular plane form on his back, not folded up.
