i really like the fact that he's an actual working radio (pretty damn slick technology for back in the day) with a tuner, volume control and actual speakers all snugly fitting in a small transforming toy. The earphone also uniquely decorates his sniper rifle which is awesome.
hes one of my all time fav pieces in my collection.

anyways mate, welcome back to the forum.

Actually I'd posted it elsewhere so it was a simple matter of doing a find and replace where I needed to make changes to tags. But yeah, photographing it initially did take a while.

Exactly, it's unfortunate that Hasbro butchered the mold so much when they made Blaster (Machine Wars toys are the only other butchery to this degree that comes to mind in the history of Transformers). Still he makes a gret unique display piece. Just glad I scored him for about $250 shipped a few years back- I imagine he'd be a killer price-wise to pick up now.

Thanks, it's definitely a work in progress on the TF end though. My short term goal with TFs is to have a complete sealed 92-93 Euro G1 collection and then work my way through selected earlier G1 stuff from there.

Damn! - There are some sweet pieces there man!

As you've probably guessed, the size of a collection often means little to people round here but it's the quality and how much the owner enjoys it that really sparks people's interest and you clearly enjoy what you're doing.

Those Pre-Transformers figures look sweet man, especially the powerdashers and I too think that a fully working Radio that turns intro a Robot - Made in the late 70s early 80s is something awesome!
You've a number of figures I wouldn't mind getting a hold of too, the Monsterbots and Sixshot come to mind but also the '84/'85 Autobot cars are something I need to start looking at as well.
At some point I look to be adding a Gigastrom myself to my fledgling Japanese Beast Wars collection, might I ask what organ you had to pay for that Beastie?

Indeed, a really nice collection man and I hope to see plenty more gems added to it, thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks, refocusing my collection alot but hanging onto the odd BW piece, like the 4 Auto Rollers. Gigastorm was actually the Korean release and only cost me $100 from memory- I think I picked it up about 10 years ago.

Thanks. Gave up being a completist with TFs a while back. Now I just collect specific sub-lines and about 7 other different limited run 80s toylines, the bulk of which I'll post at a later date.
