Dear customer,

We have received some shocking informations about the upcoming Takara Masterpiece series!!
Some informations were changed and here is a quick update.

MP-12 Lambor
5800yen (about AU$73-78 @ 75-80yen conversion rate)
Release in end of October 2012.
Lamborghini LP500S licensed!!!

... MP-13 Soundwave
12000yen ---> NOW 15800yen (about AU$198-211 @ 75-80yen conversion rate)
Release in December 2012
Soundwave will include one Cassette - laserbeak!

MP-12A ---> NOW MP-14 Red Alert!
5800yen (about AU$73-78 @ 75-80yen conversion rate)
Release in December 2012
Lamborghini LP500S licensed!!!

We knew this? When did we know that MP 14 was going to be Red Alert?

I thought that Red Alert would be MP-12A and that MP-14 would be a completely new mould, hence the hype around it the last few days. However that Facebook post says that Red Alert is MP-14.

Unless Soundwave is packing some amazing gimmicks I'm gonna have to pass on him at that price.

TakTom releases one cassette with MP Soundwave. Third party comp will release like 20. The former should have at least announced plans to release all cassettes to try to put off the latter from making unofficial releases.

So... MP Soundwave is going to be close to $200 and only comes with one cassette... fuuu... As much as I want to get one, I cannot justify spending that amount.

Fingers crossed that Hasbro release their own locally at about $50 less otherwise my collecting drought will continue.
