Yeah I was thinking that but its smaller than those - It does have that same type of connector so still unsure at the moment.

All the red pieces and small guns are from the Japanese Raiden set:

Click on the individual trainbots for their accessories. The red pieces belong to Shouki and Getsuei. The dark grey guns also belong to Shouki and Getsuei.

I am unsure about the lighter grey gun.
