Looks like Wave 5 is out in Hong Kong now (while we are still having trouble finding wave 2 in most stores here).

Some pics have been posted up of the Kup toy, in and out of packaging (mirrored here).

Note - Kup was originally planned to be Ironhide, but was changed by Hasbro (possibly after Ironhide was replaced with Bulkhead in the cartoon), but TakaraTomy are still releasing their DLX mould as Ironhide.

It's a good mold - would just about work as a classics Ironhide (with movie Ironhide overtones). Wonder if we'll see them slap a G1 head on it and sell as a generations Ironhide like they did with GDO Cliffjumper? I'd probably bite.

Certainly beats spending $100+ on that other version...

Seems like a very strange character choice. Generations Kup must have sold really well. I will probably pick up the Takara release for a Classics Ironhide though I'll wait and see if they do slap a G1 head on it and release it as Ironhide in the west as Sutton suggested they might.
