Finally, a Decepticon leader with an identifiable alt mode! No, it's not the greatest tank mode, but at least you can immediately tell that it's meant to be a tank. The transformation has some neat elements to it; I particularly like the way that the legs form the tank treads. The stowage for the spear in tank mode is also done better than in most other Warrior Class RiD2015 TFs. While the overall standard of toys in RiD2015 hasn't been great, Megatronus has proven to be one of the better ones, and so far the best of the Decepticons... although, there's really not much competition (nothin' like being a big fish in a small pond ).

Overall: Good by RiD2015 standards, but still rather ordinary by regular contemporary TF standards. Somewhat recommended.
