Default Transformers shortlisted for Toy Hall of Fame for 2017

For the second year in a row, Transformers has made it to the shortlist on the annual Toy Hall of Fame induction list.
Only 3 of the 12 on the shortlist will be inducted, on November 9th in America.

Last year it missed out, so maybe this year it will get in.

The 2017 inductees have been announced, and Transformers didn't make it again this year.
The three inductees for 2017 are - the wiffle ball (a type of hollow baseball), the boardgame Clue (called Cluedo here), and the Paper Plane.

Keep in mind that this is an American Toy Hall of Fame, which is why the American name of the UK boardgame is noted (it's original name was Cluedo, and still is outside of America), and few people outside of the baseball nation would know what a wiffle ball is... and a regular ball is already in the Hall of Fame, so there should be more variety before adding multiple versions of the one type of toy.

The list of current (American) Hall of Fame toys can be seen here.
For those ever in America and want to visit the National Toy Hall of Fame, it is in Rochester New York.
