Last month, just before I left for BotCon, I did my semi-annual update of my collection webpage as it was about 150 toys out-of-date.

I also took a video of the collection at that time, but didn't get to upload it, so took another one after I came back from BotCon (with the extra 83 toys added to the shelves). It took 3 attempts to upload it to youtube because it took so long, but I finally got it uploaded today while I was home sick (something I ate didn't agree with me yesterday...)

Some basements have sunlight - depends on the way the house is structured. My relos have a house in Melbourne which has a large basement section which has plenty of sunlight (dirge, SofaMan and Demonac know what I mean ). I thought it was a lounge room.

What's with that one empty shelf? Preparing room for upcoming toys?

I recommend it if you can. Not only does it give you more space to display your toy and just generally looks nicer, but I find that it also helps to keep your toys clean. I use the second largest bedroom in my place as my TF room and because it's a dedicated TF room people don't go in there unless they want to see or handle my Transformers. As a result it gathers very little dust*. It's easily the cleanest room in my place! I also find it's good to have one room that is completely overwhelmed by Transformers as it keeps the rest of the house TF-free -- something important when you're co-habitating with someone! I don't think my wife would appreciate it if I spread out my Transformers throughout the entire house.

*Although this has changed recently - I've started actually sleeping in my TF room because my daughter sleeps in the master BR and I need my sleep (mother-in-law is sleeping in guestroom)!
