I prefer not to put them in a backpack as you can't really prevent someone from crushing your backpack from behind. Hand carry is the most flexible and you can dodge incoming people and objects if you need to.

Thanks, makes sense dont want a g1 purchase sitting in a backpack to fall victim to train crush or random pedestrians.

Wow HD there's a lot of stuff at the Hokkaido and Sapporo Part 2 Imgot excited about - especially that G1 Rotorstorm ( coz I dont have one hehehehe) If I had been there I wouldve been prolly had an attack of temporary selective autism.... as in all around would be dead to me except those toy shelves hehehe

Thats it.......I am heading to Japan this year! Ill have to go before October though because I can take an extra 20kg of luggage because of my frequent flyer status which I lose after October and looking at those pictures, I think Ill be needing every kilogram

Yeah, there are a lot in Hokkaido, quite unexpected. I did consider the Rotostorm, which is MISB by the way, but passed cos the box was not nice enough...

The cheaper ones usually have stuff missing or have issues with the boxes. If you see a price tag card with lots of Jap words on it, its not a good sign - the card lists what is missing and the defects.

If you are buying MIB stuff, make sure you have a good, hard, clampshell luggage or be prepared to hand-carry if you are worried (I carried a Grand Maximus onto the plane in 2004 when I refused to check it in and told them to get f**ked if they stopped me).

Grimlock and Soundwave set is VSY, one of the rare Japanese giftsets that have very common toys, but extremely rare packaging...

Stunticons as usual, nice as usual! From what I understand, D-50 is very difficult to find and disproportionately expensive.
