G1 Optimus Prime 2014 Christmas Ornament from Hallmark
Aug 19, 2014 - 8:54 PM - by Ultra Mackness
This isn't exactly news although I did a quick search I couldn't find a thread for it but apologies if I'm unnecessarily starting a new one!

Like the title says, this is a Hallmark Christmas ornament. Being G1 Optimus, I naturally wanted to pick one up but Hallmark Australia didn't have it on their website so I don't trust that it will be released here and the Hallmark America site doesn't offer shipping to Oz.

However the site in the link does offer shipping to Oz... [Read More]

Collector Club toy head-sculpts on display
Aug 19, 2014 - 12:51 PM - by griffin
At the NJCC convention in America last weekend, there was a custom sculpting company (called Boss Fight) with a booth, showing off some of their recent projects... including some of FunPub's GIJoe and Transformers exclusive heads.

We get a really good look at four of them (Rampage/Shokaract, Chromedome, Eject/Rewind, Thrustinator), and two others are... [Read More]

Hong Kong Milk Magazine Voyager Optimus competition
Aug 19, 2014 - 12:00 PM - by griffin
I had thought that I had mentioned this somewhere when the competition was running, but might just be remembering the Milk Magazine's 2011 Deluxe Optimus competition. (or I just can't find the news posting)

Well, the Hong Kong fashion magazine called "Milk"... [Read More]

TF4 deleted scene
Aug 18, 2014 - 12:54 AM - by griffin
There are probably many deleted scenes for Age of Extinction, but this is one that we will know about, thanks to Kelsey Grammer in a Yahoo interview.

In a recent interview about his roles in Transformers and Expendables, he mentions that they filmed a scene of him throwing someone Chinese out of a... [Read More]

Club Exclusive: Marissa Fairborn with Afterburner
Aug 15, 2014 - 9:55 AM - by BigTransformerTrev
Apparently the next club exclusive after Nova Prime will be Marissa Fairborne with a non-transforming Afterburner.

The graphic looks really good but a shame that Afterburner doesnt transform. These club exclusives are so far looking better... [Read More]

IDW Primacy preview
Aug 13, 2014 - 6:55 PM - by griffin
Newsrama have posted up a preview (mirrored here) of the first issue out this week at comic stores.
It is the third part of the story started with Autocracy and Monstrocity, but I guess Primacy isn't being released as a digital exclusive first like the other two were.

Win a Megatron surfboard at Zing Pop Culture (Brisbane)
Aug 10, 2014 - 10:02 PM - by tinyJazz
A new store called Zing Pop Culture opened up in Indro at the start of the month. Predictably, half their stock is made up of funko pops.

Very light on the TF stuff. They had the three movie pops for $16, The Loyal Subjects 8" Optimus and Nemesis (didn't check the price but I'm guessing $40), the G1 comic pack with two mini figures for $26, and bizarrely, blind-bagged goldie international mini figures for $5. :/ Save a dollar, pick the one you want at TRU and Big... Aug 09, 2014 - 8:14 PM - by griffin
Not sure yet if it will be called Gelshark (the Car Robots name) or Sky-Byte (the Hasbro Generations/RID name)... but this Voyager figure and Leader Jetfire look to be wave three of the Legends line (the renamed and rebooted numbers of the JP Generations line).

Both have colours that differentiate them form their Hasbro versions,... [Read More]
