Robot Heroes are back as Mini-Titans
Dec 10, 2014 - 2:47 PM - by griffin
Looks like the Robot Heroes figurine concept could be back, this time called Mini-Titans.... and not only is the name a contradiction to itself, some resemble Gen1 characters, despite most being RID characters and the assortment is being called "Robots in Disguise".

Anyway, there are 12 in... [Read More]

Updates for RID, Generations & YOTG
Dec 09, 2014 - 1:57 AM - by griffin
With the recent release of RID toys in America and Europe, plus the expected release of Generations toys and the Year of the Goat toys by the end of the month, I asked the local branch if or when these toys will be released in Australia.

As usual, a big thanks to them for these details....

Generations - the major retailers are likely to start stocking them Feb/March, and if we/they are lucky, minor retailers (like ToysRUs) might be convinced to take stock before... [Read More]

RID toys now out in America!
Dec 07, 2014 - 11:53 PM - by griffin
That's right. Unless it is a cleverly designed hoax, Hasbro appear to have rushed some RID toys to stores in America to cash in on the Christmas splurge of gift-getters buying random stuff for their kids and kids of their friends and relatives.

The cheapest ones, the gimmick "one-step changers" (Underbite, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Strongarm) ... [Read More]

Myer 5-day 50% off second toy offer
Dec 03, 2014 - 2:19 PM - by griffin
I saw signage up at my nearest Myer store, so am not sure if this is nationwide or just for certain states (as some Myer offers can be localised).

For five days (3rd to 7th December) you can get 50% off a second toy that is of equal or lesser value... that is NOT with some other offer. (in other words, I don't know if sale items have to be charged at full price, or you get the sale price at 50% off - which would be pretty good for the two Platinum sets currently on sale)

3DLightFX Autobot symbol fix for incorrect colour!
Dec 02, 2014 - 7:09 AM - by koolkollectibleskhai
Here's a quick update vid on the 3D Light FX Autobot light that I got a while back. Since I ordered directly from them and asked why the original light was wrong, they got new stock in that had correct lighting. And they were awesome enough to send me a replacement at no extra cost! Gotta love that!!
