Err... as much as I would like to pay 49.99 for a voyager, I just can't. Not with the AUD being this strong and the fact that voyagers have been around the <$30 for some time (albeit, on clearance).

Only one store in all of Australia is doing this...? The event I can understand, due to extra costs to run it, but the actual bonus for purchase being only one store is a little uncool.

Now for pics on the freebie stuff that people should be getting tonight at the Event.

First is the 'gift box' that is being given with any purchase of a Voyager Class figure (while stocks last).
This is actually a Hasbro product (according to the fine-print on the bottom), not a TRU item... so could be given out at other events and in other countries.

After seeing all the promo events and freebies being hosted by TRU in several Asian countries, I had another read over the AUS event, and realised that the Sticker and Guidebook above are definitely being given away free at the Melbourne event tonight, but might be in limited numbers.

I was at TRU Doncaster yesterday & they had a lot of staff preparing for the launch. Not sure about the "launch" as it looked like they had bucketloads of DSOM transformers already on the shelf?

Seeming the street date was broken, TRU head office emailed all stores the OK to start stocking shelves on Thursday.

That was despite the event happening, and basically the only people REALLY annoyed by it were the management of Doncasters TRU, as they were the ones forking out for the signage and the photographer.
