No. Bandai usually put up pre-orders at the start of the month. So maybe a few weeks for the YF-30 and maybe early June for a VF-25G re-release (unannounced). Those are guesses.

I think is the cheapest, anime Export may or may not be cheaper. do take note there are heaps of shipping options as well with Nippon Yasan.

I picked up an original Yamato stand for my 1/48 scale VF-1S and it cost a bomb (seriously)... There needs to be an alternative!

I had hobbysearch, a Miami, Nippon, and cdjapan opened. Amiami did not show the product when I I was refresh, so was hobbysearch.

dude, you do not want to take any risk. In honesty I saw cdjapan, and I just click to buy when I saw it was below RRP, and to me any order through is a win at first round. I tried NY and they had maintenance page every time, and I don't think it was worth waiting.

Technically this is my last Macross but I am extending to a 25G if possible.

Expect $25-50 marked up. You should see some on Ebay soon.

This is why a lot of us prefer exclusive release as there isn't a need for all this.
Plus Bandai will have a better picture on how many they need to roughly make than having people missing out.

You have to really be very thankful all Transformers masterpiece is not at this magnitude yet.

I am not a fan of ordering any Macross toys for this series from them as they never announce when it is released. Transformers Masterpieces is a different story altogether.

HLJ do tend to have about normally 4 piece available when is offically release and again, lucky draw.

From time to time I have requested they have a pre-order items page of all new items, but they have not done anything.

Yes I know but its kind of out of our hands for now. For me, I can't tell them I be closing my account as I have Bumblebee, wheeljack, super parts for both vf-29 and my gao fai gar, all paid up.

Put it this way, I don't think they are enjoying this themselves as it already affected their reputation.

I remembered a friend of mine order 3 Metal composite Gundam Banshee and NY told him similar like this and can commit to one, but a week later, they told him he be getting all 3.

I still order from NY because most of the other stores get "sold out" status within less than an hour. And their prices are mostly reasonable. I gave up on HLJ for Macross chogokin, as they rarely available to me, and their inconstant releasing of items with no page of all new and pre-order items just told me to give it up.

I am waiting, if you are really impatient, you can cancel it. But my question would be where can you purchase this piece for under 20,000 yen? None.

I can wait, is not an issue for me, the only issue is if they stuff you over and say they can't obtain the piece and while my super parts for it is already paid.

I think many in mw didn't felt the colour scheme was great, and it was not very popular as compared to the hero piece. If people knew the Ozma version was going to be released, many may have skipped that as well.

Well.... no idea, as I have not seen anyone here has cancelled, it be very hard to verify this. NY does not have a cancel functionality unlike HLJ, but being said, I have bought and cancelled paid items from NY before.

IMO, these kind of stuff ups do happen, and I am hoping the damage is minimal, I don't think it helps either party.

For the 30th anniversary, I didn't understand why it has a skull when it is clearly isn't a Ozma or a leader class valk. The grey also looked very dull as compared to Ozma yf-29. I wasn't a fan of the Alto's version either so to speak, if I had to choose, I might even go 30th over Alto's yf-29.

Maybe they were lazy with the head sculpt?
It did not do it for me unfortunately, I didn't feel all excited unlike the Izamu colours or Ozma.

But I am sure looking for your comparison pics once you obtained the Ozma though. :)

it came missed aligned as usually ... and I found out that my right wing or leg is like 1mm off ... wouldn't sit flush :( might be degradation of the mold?.. took me like 20min to get it sitting fairly flushed together ...got a slight white stress mark on the right wings joint as well :( im very picky about them things.... and also the skull been cut inhalf of that swing arm...

As already answered, the VF-27 that comes with the Super Parts is basically a Renewal. It has the improved hip section and overall proportions. It's just not actually called a Renewal.

I am thinking they may not release a Grace as it was Tamashii web special before. Its weird that the vf-27 did not fly off the shelves like everyone else, as this piece is one of the most high quality in the Bandai range imo.

I think that's the upper limit of how long airmail can take. So no tracking number or registration?

Anything registered takes 3 times longer. EMS should be quick, normal SAL is normally fast.

Anything sent during easter is stuffed up and back log. My Ipad Air cover from Singapore took nearly a month to arrive and it left Singapore on the 19th of April and finally arrived like 15th of May. Go figure, Singapore to Perth is only a 4 hours flight I don't see how my parcel took that long.

I do trust Austalian Post most of the time but they did stuffed up putting someone's parcel into my parcel locker and I handled it back to them.

One more thing, most registered parcel MEANS nothing, to Aust post is when you collect the parcel then they record as you received it, that is all no tracking if the parcel isn't EMS or special tracking.

The NUNS black triangle piece breaks within ten attempts of transformation.
Heck, mine broke in arrival.

Nearly everyone who have either the normal or Alto's version would break. And it is shocking that Bandai choose the wrong material for it and thus having lots of stress marks in this area.

If you are new to this, you may need to read back in this thread or do a google search. Unfortunately, this is the poorest quality from Bandai. The figure is actually nice but it defeats the purpose if it breaks so easily.

I am pretty sure is not the production green alone, the white one might be better but doesn't mean perfect.

I don't see how the same piece of plastic will work well for one and not the other, and I am certainly not taking the chances.

I do not have a luca, but I think I will grab the RVF-25 instead as that is still the last plane he flew.

And that was the reason the 171 CF's triangles shatter by looking at them. Bandai tightened up the tolerances apparently, a little bit tooooo much.

I really wish they'd fix it and reissue. The 171 is the best looking CF valk ever. :(

I've had problems with Anime Export screwing me around, so I don't think there's a better solution for Bandai Valks.

Basically THERE is NO registered SAL to Australia.

Your options ARE
1.SAL
2. Airmail Registered
3. EMS
4. Registered by boat (cheap, long wait)

Talking about ANY Japanese online shops to Australia here.
There was an agreement that they now will not ship registered SAL to 9 other countries as well. it sucks.

Most of my stuff are not registered as they do get here, and I mean in terms of any online shop from Japan. I have not encountered any dishonesty from any of them.

Obviously if you are ordering very highly priced items I would recommend EMS.

For Tamashii items, I really cannot boycott NY or Anime Export, unless you want to pay hong kong prices.

The Alto VF-171 was ok in terms of shoulders but was complicated to transform. If memory serves, it's a bit easier with the CF version but the shoulders are too tight and defective with exploding joints.

I think the RVF171 looks nice as it different from the normal 171EX with the addition of dish and antenna that set them apart quiet nicely , and in general 171 is a good looking fighter .

I DO NOT recommend the CF ...Both of my CF has cracks in them , one of them had the triangle completely broke apart in which I manage to super glue back :cool: and the other one I left in fighter mode only after once transforming it started to form a slight crack , I think if I touch it any more it will fall apart .
But my Vf171EX alto perfectly is fine :)

Shouldn't matter if you are a collector like Lancalot here, I am pretty sure he would just buy it.

I like to see reviews for this piece as I know it should be still available when is released. The Isamu was like this and in fact it is in discounted after I purchased at their higher price. Could be wrong and be sold out, but I believe I can wait for Lancalot's preview and comments before I go ordering one.

No I am not sure but it sure feels like it.

I do not know what is Bandai doing, surely they have news that vf-25G is basically sold out everywhere same goes for the vf-25 Ozma or yf-29 Ozma, common sense would be just get a second run going, but is like they dont bother.

Then you have Tamashii web that they make accordingly to order, What gives? Can't they cut this bs and supply enough for everyone?

The metal build Destiny gundam was shocking, I am still surprised there isn't stock for it and many were left out.

If anything they going to make more variants for yf-30, just to milk us with the mold.

Releasing valks that no one really wants seems to be the done thing at the moment. Bandai refusing to rerelease the 25S and G but pumping out the RVF-171 and Arcadia pumping out the Kai and when they could rerelease the VF-4.

I want my FB2012 VF-4 dammit!!:mad: although I'd settle for a G too.

Got around to opening Ozma yesterday. Didnt TF him yet, but man what a pretty plane.
All the yellow lines are nicely done and I do not see any flaws in him.

Looking forward to TFing him.

I have put on Super parts for my yf-29 Isamu and to be honest its a ted heavy.
I thought he be great in plane mode, but it doesn't give the "stealth" like as before.

I bought my Ozma super parts anyway, but I think I will leave one without the Super parts.

yeah you can almost buy rvf-171 which is why I totally boycott the renewal vf-25f
