I?ve dealt with TLTC personally (face to face) and I can tell you they are genuinely good guys. Theyre not gonna rip you off. The issue is they?re basically a 2-3 man operation with a lot of orders to fill. I?ve never had an order go tits-up with them.

This was the impression I always had. I don't order from them anymore but they delivered on all my orders eventually. Yes some were outstanding for over a year but they still arrived.

In case I didn't make it clear. I think everyone will get everything they ordered or get refunded by TLTC. It's just that it WILL take a long time.

As a general rule, if you screenshot dates, fund your purchases with a credit card, stay aware of your 120 day dispute window, and are willing to follow through with the dispute process, you’ve literally got nothing to lose.
(Edit: I haven’t dealt with them recently. Also, I’ve never had to dispute a transaction with them. They took a long time, but I got everything in the end, including a refund for POTP Novastar when requested.)

I hate that their website doesn't give you a confirmation email when you send them a query via the site. They haven't replied to my email about the arrival dates of a few items i'm interested in. I'll defo have to look at more expensive but reliable sellers

Don't worry they don't discriminate! They burned and ignored their customers who spent thousands with them all the same.
After over one hundred emails and follow ups from my end (7-14 days apart as I don't like to spam), I'm glad to be finally rid of them.

They only list preorders now if the stock is locked in and enroute.
If it doesn’t say preorder, it’s in hand and ready to go
I looked Wednesday night, placed an order, and just picked up SS Scavenger, Shockwave, Siege impactor and mirage

How reliable are TLTC at the moment? I have the 4 pack of cassettes on preorder at BBTS, but BBTS are months late in receiving their stock. Plus TLTC will be cheaper than BBTS.

Hi guys, I ordered a DC figure from ActionFigureWarehouse, and when it arrived the box label has Little Toy Company on it.
Can someone please explain why that is?
I have no wish to support the LTC business or their unethical practices - so if that ebay lister/seller is one and the same I will not be buying from that ebay store also.
I have "Krayt" on ignore, so if anyone other than that person could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Yeah, they're one and the same.
You get more traction with purchases if you go through ebay than through their website as there's accountability through a third party (ebay)... sad really, isn't it?

Thank you for replying.
I have no wish to support them in any way, nor give them any $ after getting ripped off by this company several years back.
I will be filing a complaint on ebay and mentioning that they operate on ebay under a different name etc.
Dodgy business, terrible customer service, no response to either message I sent on ebay and asked them directly if it was the same business (AFW as TLTC)
The previous msg I sent through ebay week back (about purchasing at item) they replied to same day.
My new message when asking them point blank if it was also Little Toy Company they ignored and never responded to at all over a week later.

They can and often have. They ignored my request for refund, and I just had to wait until they eventually got something in stock many months later. See there?s a small window to file a chargeback request with your credit card company, and its hard beyond that point. By offering preorders and then delaying delivering, it makes it difficult to dispute.

You should have around an 18 month window to file a dispute from the time you place the order. By constantly delaying an order they actually make it easier to dispute.

They're up on his site as a pre-order, no street date, nothing.
I asked TLTC for a timeline on the arrival of stock instore, a response of, "3rd quarter of 2020" would be fine but I waited 48 hours for a response and I haven't heard squat. They can access email and their files electronically regardless of lockdown and I'm not keen on waiting 6 months, like I did when I pre-ordered TR Char/Kup from him in 2017 for a delivery when I can get a guaranteed pre-order from Zing or EB.
You can physically visit the store, something a lot of us cannot do and TRANSPARENCY is all that I'm asking for especially when he takes the full amount for a pre-order.
Thanks for offering to ask about ER releases but I'd prefer to get it from the TLTC in an email.

That's great but they need to put this on the site *as soon as pre-orders are open* they don't respond to emails, they don't have a SM account that I could find. I normally don't do pre-orders through them, I do it through EB because they're transparent about order arrivals and I can easily query them if need be. Yes EB is a larger organisation but I get piece of mind from them simply putting a street date for their stock arrival.

Does anyone have an estimate for how long it takes them to ship an in-stock item to Sydney? Like, how long did it take before COVID, and if anyone has bought from them during the pandemic, how long after? And if anyone's bought from them since the whole Victoria lockdown, that'd help too
It's going to be my first time buying from them and reading this thread has me... concerned, and the lack of estimated arrival date really, really doesn't help.

Out of all the Australian online retailers this is one of the better ones. If the item is on stock it will arrive. As a rule I tend not to pre order through Aus online retailers because they're at the bottom of the pecking order for stock.
