Just popped into BigW Glenorchy to do a 'Siege' check and found they've put a bunch of TLK Voyagers on the shelf. Heaps of Hounds, Optimus' and Megatrons but also two Scorns (one now) and one Nitro. Scanning at $10 :D

Kmart Eastlands has Siege Ironhide, Prowl, Sixgun, Chromia, Starscream and Soundwave. Plenty of old SS Megatrons and Brawls alongside Shatter, Dropkick and Cogman.

Pretty solid Siege range in KMart Devonport. All Battle Masters to date (except Blowpipe), Wave 2 deluxes and voyagers, plus a reasonable selection of Studio Series deluxes and voyagers. Still a few PotP Scouts, though not many.

Didn't bother paying attention to the Cyberverse stuff, but lots of that of course.

Toyworld is the usual old-and-overpriced stock, still a few Blowpipes left and some Leader class Blackouts but besides that nothing really noteworthy IMO.

I did notice in my trip to your incredible state that the Toyworld Hobart prices were jacked up compared to general retail and indeed most Toyworlds in WA.

Hey Tas peeps, I'm trying to get the state library to order the last of the Lost Light series TPBs - #3 and #4. The chances will be better if other Tassie crew do so as well. :)

Order/request page here (https://www.libraries.tas.gov.au/how-to/Pages/recommend.aspx); book details here (https://tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Transformers:_Lost_Light#Collections).

Possible cheers in advance - if we can get them ordered then we pretty much have the full MTMTE/Lost Light series in the state library system. :)

Burnie:

Target - don't bother, as usual.

KMart - some WfC Wave 2 stuff.

Toyworld - $9 Battle Masters, including 1x Blowpipe (wish I'd got it there instead of Devonport), 1x WfC Skytread if anyone missed out on him, plus Wave 2. 1x WfC Ultra Magnus. He looks cool.

One Refraktor, 2 Brunts and a Hound at Kmart Launceston (I took a Red Alert, as I've got everything else on order online).

Sutton
13th July 2019, 03:10 PM
The 'Refraktor' wave has restocked at Kmart Launceston, with 2 Refraktors on the shelf this morning that I've put to the every back.

Also, one Studio Series IRONHIDE that amongst a sea of Megatrons that I've also put right to the back if anyone's looking for him :-)

2 Brunts, 1 Refraktor, fair few Red Alerts at KMart Devonport as of yesterday.

Sutton
12th August 2019, 07:52 PM
Kmart Burnie had 2 SS Rampages and 1 SS 'Bumblebee' Optimus yesterday.

Launceston Target had around 3 each of Long Haul and KSI Boss today.

Forgot to mention from Thursday - $5 PotP Prime Masters at Toyworld Devonport, and one Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime which I put behind the blue baskets at the bottom-end of the shelf. I imagine someone's probably moved it by now, but if not then there's a Voyager Prime there for anyone who wants it.

Sutton
18th September 2019, 08:01 PM
Pretty large restock of POTP Wave 3 at Kmart Launceston - I counted at least 5 Refraktors for those still trying to build a camera, but may have been more...!

They also had two each of Studio Series Bumblebee Optimus and Rampage, and the new Cyberverse Sparkarmour figures, if you're looking for a cute Skybyte figure...

19th September 2019, 12:32 PM
Siege restock in KMart Devonport. A few Hounds, 2 Brunts, 1 Red Alert, and 3 Refraktors, which someone might have misplaced on the right-hand bottom shelf along with the Bumblebee Movie Optimus from a while ago, which is still there.

I was going to offer to grab them for anyone who wanted a full set, but it looks like they're becoming widespread enough that everyone here will be able to get them anyway.

^^Saw a few in KMart last week/2 weeks ago, don't remember if it was there this week or not. I think there was still one, not 100% sure.
Can look again next time I'm in town (probably about 1 week away) and grab it for you if it's there if you want. :) Might be able to find one in Toyworld as well if you don't mind the mark-up.

Not there, sorry - the one I thought was a Scrapmetal was actually a Hightower.

3x Studio Series G1-esque Bumblebee movie Voyager Optimus Primes in KMart Devonport. Nothing else worthy of note, though there are $6 Battle Masters - basically only Aimless though.

So a weird sort-of sighting in Launnie - some newsagents are stocking toys over the Christmas period, but they're doing it through a local distributor, so it's proper name brand toys. The catalog for my local Newsagent came in the mail and it had Voyager Springer/Thundercracker for $50 and Deluxe Barricade/Mirage for $35!

Naturally I had to walk around to have a look and see if this was actually true, but they only had a lone Siege Megatron on the shelf - so that could be from either the Optimus/Megs wave or (more likely) the Thundercracker/Megs wave. But still, it's a real thing either way.

That sort of distribution model will likely extend to quite a few newsagents so it might be worth poking your noses in to local ones that you know stock a fair bit of giftware stuff just in case...

5th December 2019, 06:12 PM
Burnie - 1x $70 Siege Astrotrain at Toyworld, decent sales on Siege stuff at Target and Toyworld but mostly older stuff/waves. No new-wave Deluxes sadly, or else I would have gotten a Spinister. Fair few Voyager Thundercrackers though.

Ode to a Grasshopper
8th December 2019, 11:33 AM
So, according to the Devonport Toyworld staff, what's there now is it for the year. So, anyone wanting the latest Siege Deluxes is out of luck unless they have a Target or Big W nearby. I checked in the Burnie Target the other day and nothing, so it's not looking promising for the North-West, unless KMart has some that they haven't put out yet.

People in Launceston or Hobart will probably have better luck, not that Launceston Target is great TF-wise...

Sutton
8th December 2019, 02:36 PM
...not that Launceston Target is great TF-wise...

We've got two, and neither of them have a well-managed toy section. It's pretty clear they have plenty of stock out the back most of the time, but the floor displays (for all toy lines) are generally a shambles.

There's been quite a few times when I've done click-and-collect, and had my order cancelled due to no stock. And then go in there for a look and lo and behold the stuff is on the shelves.

Sutton
11th December 2019, 12:28 PM
I picked up the only $70 Astrotrain from Toyworld Launceston today....at that price, it's almost reasonable. But $99 would be lunacy.

Siege Crosshairs and Spinister at Devonport KMart. $25 sale still on.

2x Crosshairs and 1x Spinister as of 1:30-ish. Also a few Thundercrackers and a Megatron IIRC.

Sutton
29th January 2020, 08:24 PM
Bit of a super non-sighting here: Kmart Launceston currently doesn't have a Transformer section at all. Not even the space where they should go.....

Sutton
12th February 2020, 08:06 PM
Kmart Launceston did a modest restock, adding the 'Spinister/Crosshairs' wave from Siege, and 3 each of the Cyberverse Deluxe Wave. I have to say, those Cyberverse toys may not be my thing, but the new ones look sooooo much better!

And pleased to see they only did a small restock, leaving plenty of room for 'Earthrise' to roll on in shortly...

Ode to a Grasshopper
14th February 2020, 06:32 PM
Same thing for KMart Devonport, small restock of the Spinister/Crosshairs wave, plus one Voyager Starscream, otherwise very little.

Nothing new for Toyworld.

28th February 2020, 06:41 PM
Quick Launceston trip today - Earthrise voyagers (2x Grapples), Micromasters, and Ramp guys at Toyworld. A few Siege Leader-classes, mostly Shockwaves, for ~$80. Usual prices for the Earthrise stuff. Would have gotten a Grapple, but honestly it doesn't quite look worth the asking price, so I'm going to put him on the 'wait for loose sales/bargains down the track' list.

Myers is pretty much empty, same for Target bar some old Cyberverse stuff.

Devonport KMart is cleaned out, except for a few new Cyberverse deluxes. 1x Optimus, a few Shockwaves. Didn't check Devonport Toyworld.

Ode to a Grasshopper
12th March 2020, 12:36 PM
Devonport Toyworld has Wave 1 of the Earthrise stuff, at usual Devonport Toyworld prices. $44 for Deluxes, $65 for Voyagers, $100 for Leaders.

2x Grapples and 1x Starscream at KMart. Also 1x Siege Sideswipe. Both Grapples look to have OK face paint. Plenty of Cyberverse Shockwaves, a few Optimuses and Bumblebees. 2x each Studio Series Voyager Brawls and KSI Bosses.

24th March 2020, 05:39 PM
Trip to Burnie today, which was quieter than usual but what people there were out didn't seem to have quite grasped the art of 'maintaining distance from other people'. I kind of get why New Zealand etc have just done a blanket 'stay home' ban instead of something more nuanced....hey, group of three 80-somethings, try walking single-file down the narrow lane, and you too fat bogan pair!

Anyway, Burnie's pretty good TF-wise. Best selection of Earthrise Voyagers/Deluxes I've seen in the Northwest - some at KMart, reasonable selection at Toyworld with a few Leaders. Target's got sweet FA as usual.

Also, the state library system has closed all libraries as of today, though their online services are still available. Hope everyone is OK for books etc.

Ode to a Grasshopper
25th June 2020, 06:38 PM
Still a fair few Earthrise Voyagers and Deluxes at KMart and Toyworld Devonport. Reasonable selection of Netflix deluxes at KMart, no Voyagers. The G1 Minibot guys are there too. One more Leader Earthrise Optimus Prime at Toyworld, still on sale for $70, with plenty of the other Leaders as well.

1x Earthrise Wave 2 Voyager Megatron at Toyworld, no other Wave 2 toys - or anything else new - as far as I could tell.

Netflix Wave 1 Voyagers as well as the usual deluxes at KMart. 2x-3x Hotlinks/pseudo-Skywarps (which actually look really nice) and 1x Megatron.

Devonport Toyworld - Earthrise Snapdragon and Doubledealer, with a sale starting Monday. Didn't see anything else new - no Slitherfangs or Rungs from what I could see.

More of a Non-Sighting than anything, but...

Besides a fairly substantial number of Doubledealers at Toyworld Devonport, it's all Nothing New territory. I checked out the EB Games and there were no Transformers whatsoever, which is kind of a shame 'cos I'm on the fence about Generations Selects Hubcap (I want him but $40 seems a little but much).

They're blaming it on 'ongoing port congestion'.

They're blaming it on 'ongoing port congestion'.

Well I know the Ports here in Sydney are backed up due to industrial action over October. This has now halted but still the congestion will take time to clear and probably the reason why we are yet to see the latest Netflix wave.

I would assume Tassie will be waiting on supply via one of the major ports..

Sorry, didn't mean the ' ' as being sarcastic, I should have used " " as it was meant to be a quote...:p

Well aware of the port woes this year across the country, as well as the Toll hacking ransomware debacle that sent shipments of random stuff all over the place. Transformers have been hard to get hold of, but Lego has been near impossible.

Barely anything at Target Burnie, though they've got the Cyberverse Quintesson packs on clearance at $40 each.

KMart is surprisingly solid though - fair amount of stock (SS series Jeep 'bee wave, Earthrise Wave 1 deluxes and voyagers restock), plus heaps of new Netflix stuff, including the spoiler Leader packs. I've headed down to Hobart for a week for a job interview.

Launceston Target had one SS Blurr, and maybe (IIRC) 1x Hot Rod.

Hobart Target is basically Don't Bother. But Toyworld is gangbusters. No Leader Megatrons, only a Paleaotrex and a Warpath Deluxe-wise, but by far the place to go in the City. 2x Scorponoks at $300 each if anyone's still looking.

All of the retro headmasters Wave 1 were at Target Mowbray and Target Launceston today.

Interestingly, I was keen on picking up a Chromedome to replace my TR Chromedown, because he has poorly mismatched paint on his car roof panels...

3 - 4 each of 86 Sludge, Legacy Blitzwing and Elita 1 at JB HIFI - on sale for $75 / $29.

I already had mine coming through Postman Pat so didn't take any...

All the Sludge has been cleaned up from JB Launceston, but still plenty of Blitzwings and Elita-1s.

EB Games Launceston also has a lone Blitzwing if you feel like paying $40-odd more for some reason.

More Legacy stuff at KMart Devonport. 2x Blasters, plus a bunch of Legends.
Restock of the Kingdom Tracks/Waspinator/etc wave.
Studio Series deluxes, a few Ironhides, 1x Arcee, etc.

Of the new releases, JBHIFI Launceston had HISS Megatron, DOTM Bumblebee and ROTF Sideways, and around 12 Tarantulas (no Knockout, no Wildrider?).

Very odd. Plus, the online availability doesn't reflect anything as being in stock.

Nothing new at Devonport KMart. I asked at the helpdesk and they're getting in Velocitron Deluxes and Scourges at some point soon, not many by the sounds of things.

Picked up Jhiaxus from JB HIFI Launceston.

Nothing exciting about that, but he was stickered and scanned up for $39. Still on the website for $54 so not sure if it's a local mistake or not.

Wow, that store got in two cases of Deluxes. I wonder why they were so special.

Launceston Kmart does this - the occasional dump of stuck, then nothing else for months.

Devonport KMart's been mostly cleared out of the Velocitron stuff, 1x Burn Out/black Skids and the 2 Voyagers left. I was in a rush and didn't check thoroughly re. Scourges, but they didn't look to have any either.

I was going to try and grab a Cosmos for people here (I'm good with the previous Legends/Scout-class one myself) but no luck, sorry peeps.

And to update on Kmart Launceston's Velocitron after yesterday:

Today they have nothing.

To clarify, everything I saw yesterday was on stock cages in the toy section waiting to get put out, but today it's all disappeared again! Clearly the two young kids in charge of putting it out yesterday got Thursday CBFs, saw the pile of Shadow Panthers still on the shelf, and decided that was a good enough effort for the Transformers section.

Still in-stock online and available for click and collect - but apart from Scourge, that's a bit dicey if you're after something specific.

Evidently a restock at Burnie KMart, a few Velocitron deluxes including 1 Clampdown/police-car-Sideswipe guy and a few Scourges.

Target had a Legends-class Bumblbee Movie Ravage and a Weirdwolf headmaster, and that's it.

Alongside the expected bulk of Legacy W1 and a glut of later-wave Kingdom figures, Toyworld Devonport has:
1x Titan Cybertron Metroplex and 1x Commander Motormaster, several Earthrise figures (2x Wheeljack, 3x Ironworks, half a dozen of the Micromaster Patrol with Big Daddy), 1x Siege Chromia and 2x TLK 3-Step Dragonstorm (which is still full price).
Not Transformers, but they also had a half dozen Star Wars "Force Link" playset things from The Last Jedi at a small discount (IIRC $5).

There is a single Velocitron Clampdown (police car Sideswipe) at K-Mart Burnie, if anyone is still looking for a copy.

CBD JB Hi Fi has most of the back half of Legacy deluxe, voyager and leader, as well as the start of Evolution.

Notably Target CBD had the Buzzworthy NEST Studio Series repaints. I only saw 1x Bonecrusher (which I grabbed) and 2x Ratchets.

Target Launceston has all Legacy W3 deluxes except Dead End on sale for $19, some of ROTB W2 for standard prices as well. Also has the exclusive SS-95BB N.E.S.T. Bonecrusher and SS-96BB N.E.S.T. Ratchet stocked in decent numbers. Some of the G1-sty;e Rescue Bots figures too but I didn't look too closely at them.
Myer Launceston still has Legacy W1 at full price...

A non-sighting, but JB Launceston had their existing TFs all squished together with a bunch of empty shelves next to them with handwritten placeholder cards for 'new tf range' - so the October stuff must be incoming

2x SS86 Steeljaw (formerly 3) in KMart Burnie this morning - first time I've seen a Core Class figure on shelves since Legacy W1! Also had quite a few copies of the golden Energon Bumblebee from TFONE.
