We've had the Skids wave in WA Toyworlds (and later TRU) for about 2 weeks now. But it is a first sighting in Big W!

They're the last wave of FABs that were on display at BotCon, so anything else in that range will be news to me. They were certainly released really fast. Like with a lot of the release dates listed at BotCon, this fourth wave of FABs had a release date of October (they've released 5 months worth of Movie toys in 2 months). Either we're looking at a heap of redecos to fill the gap, or reissuing of earlier waves around Oct-Dec for the DVD release and Christmas.

Dunno if it's been reported here yet but Myer have the new ROTF legends inc. Mudflap, Grindor and red Ironhide.

In Brisbane I can confirm there are now zero of these at Chermside Myer. :p City Myer on the other hand has a few Grindors, only one Mudflap left and lotsa the red Ironhide. Happy hunting! :D

Uncle Pete's toys in Roselands has Deluxe Arcee, Scorponok and Swerve. Also has a couple of Skids and Chromia from the last wave...all $29.95. They have the power bots version of Devastator in there too.

Target has the 3D head magnets too if anyone is collecting them. $7.95 i think they were.

Targets seem to be stocking up this week with RPMs (mini-vehicles) single ($9) and double ($18) packs, up to wave 2 of each, plus the Devastator track set. And Mega Power Bots Devastator and Jet Powered Prime at $80 ($10 more than Toyworld apparently). Plus Wave 2 Marvel TFs are showing up, which could be first for Target as well.

BigW is a good place for getting Wave 3 Movie Legends for those who want to be first to get them. They are so new, they aren't even in the system yet. But very few are showing up in this first release to stores (don't panic though, as they should show up more frequently in the coming weeks).

And Wave 5 Deluxes (Arcee, Swerve, Scorponok) are being found this week as well, so should be more widespread in coming weeks.

I got to see Devastator up close and personal today (wasnt impressed). I also saw the little pricing docket he was shipped with. It had $179.00 on it and this was through my local guy. That Toyworld in town is a bloody Rip off!

As I mentioned a few days back in the SA Sightings, Dev was at Harbour Town Toyworld for the price you mentioned, so I think it could just be the greedy buggers in town and not Toyworld in general. And yes, I too was quite unimpressed... My wife was actually looking in her purse as I gazed goofy-like at the box, but I decided against it, cause even with a 10% discount card I have ($161.99), there are much better TF's I would rather get with that kind of cash. He is pure "zomg! It's the BIGGEST TF in the RotF line, WOWZZ!!!", but as a figure(s) and a representation, very "meh" imo...

I think these are the last of the Movie Scouts until the new moulds come out next year.

K-Mart Maroochydore (QLD) has 8 Human Alliance Bumblebee. However there is no pricetag on the shelf, when scanned used a pricecheck machine a message comes up saying there is no price and to check with a staff member, and when I tried to buy one it wouldn't scan at the register so I was told I couldn't buy it because it's not in the system. Saw these today aswell at Big W Parabanks, also not on the system yet, but they are $38.62 on sale this Thursday anyways. I was looking forward to this pack, as I held out on Sideways to get the Dead End redeco, but now I want the silver Sideways to go with him. So far though, I could only see this pack with the gun metal grey Sideways, and Blowpipe is rather 'meh' imo, so it's a pass for me now =o(

Powerbots Sideswipe, in Canadian packaging, at both Kmart and BigW Browns Plains.
I'm a bit worried about all this Canadian packaging we've been getting lately.

But Powerbot Sideswipe was one of those 'double take' moments for me, because it is a toy that I haven't seen reported as even existing, so I didn't immediately recognise it on the shelf with the other Powerbots (Megatron Powerbot is also grey).

i found a TFA board games pack for $30 at Uncle Petes Blacktown on friday. The box is in the shape of Optimus Primes truck mode and it contains a jigsaw puzzle, tic tac toe game,checkers game and TFA game, along with four tokens in the shape of Bumblebee,Prowl, optimus Prime and Bulkhead. they had about a dozen left.

New wave of Star Wars Transformers found today at Target in Springwood/Brisbane, including one I'd never heard was coming.
Anakin/Y-wing bomber (new)
Battle Droid Commander/AAT (brown redeco)
Cade Bane/Xanadu Blood (green redeco of the Magnaguard) - this was news to me.

Back of packaging shows co-sells of Clone-pilot/V-wing starfighter (grey redeco), and what maybe a red redeco of ObiWan/Ep2 Jedi-starfighter.

Standard Target price of $35, so didn't buy any yet.

They also had the NEST 2-pack for $50.

Adding to the earlier SWTFs sighting I posted above, I found at a Perth Target another in the new wave - Obi Wan 'redeco'. It was the Episode 2 Jedi Starfighter, but doesn't come with the hyperdrive ring (the fighter plugs into it, and the robot mode is better off without it).
Even though it was probably dead weight for a TFs toy, it removes part of the completeness of the SWs vehicle form. Plus it means Hasbro are saving a bit of money by not needing to produce quite a fair chunk of the total plastic (and weight) of each figure.

I saw it too yesterday (at garden city)! but the price tag says it's an "ultra with deluxe", so I'm guessing they might have priced it incorrectly there since demolisher is no way an ultra...

Problem is, staff won't know or care if they got the description slightly wrong, as long as the item scans up on their system and tells them what to charge us.
Pity though, as I was planning to buy it at $70 (barely worth it at that price), but not at $100 - after all, it's only a $25 deluxe with a $45 Voyager... :mad:

Target and Toyworld at Springwood both had the new packaged RPMs single-pack Mini-vehicles. They are of the third/final wave of the first series, of Barricade, Jolt, Sideswipe and Mixmaster. Bought :)

BigW Kuraby and Toyworld Springwood both had the new FABs (Arcee, redeco Sideswipe, redeco Optimus), but on the same Canadian/Sth American packaging as previous sightings. Didn't buy :(

Correction on the Demolishor Vs Twins pack - the stock had the wrong shelf tags, so still scanned up as $70. :)
The shelf tags actually refer to the Universe Comic 2-packs, which I think are still way over-priced anyway.
I moved their Movie 2-packs away from the shelving that had the $100 price tags, so that it didn't put off anyone else looking to buy them.

Agreed. The last time I did they tried to convince me that a legends size figure was the same cost as a scout. It wasn't until I spoke to a manager that they realised their error. The whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. TRU Castle Hill will not be seeing me again.

If accurate, that's a better price then what we were led to believe, at least for the commander two packs of PCC.

Seeing them, the scout robots in the 5-packs didn't appeal to me.

Of the scouts i saw, I'd like Hubcap... but I was looking at him a lot and didn't get the same feel I got from earlier release images. Also broke this fortnight, so another two weeks and I might feel differently.

I don't know. I think I've just about given up on Transformers and have gotten back into Star Wars in a huge way, the range of them here is a lot less than the TFs, prices are mostly worse, but... yeah. I don't know. The powercore combiners piqued my interest a while back, so I'll see how I feel about them when I've got one.

The US TRU are apparently releasing the WFC Optimus and Bumblebee this week, to coincide with their public testing of the WFC game in their stores. The Game still won't be released before the end of the month, and those are the only two Generations toys that should be released in AMerica before August.

At Elizabeth (SA) Target today I found a 2-Pack of Wave 1 RotF Voyager Prime (with the bronze ancient symbols on it), and what looks to be Movie 1 Bumblebee with the Stealth/Battlefield headsculpt, although on the package he is simply referred to as Bumblebee. I'm guessing Movie 1 BB because he has his crossblade weapon thingo. I took a photo, but can't find the usb cable for my phone, but I'll try get it up soon.

They look and feel so much better, making the original plastic ones look like knockoffs. And they are priced at the new lower $4.74, compared to old $8-10 price, making them more competative to Hotwheels/matchbox.

I found 7, but the card backs suggest that there are at least 11 new ones out in the first assortment, which includes 'Metal Heroes', 'Nest' redecos, and 'Stunticon' redecos.

I think it is good to have a re-release of the main characters in diecast, otherwise these better RPMs still won't sell because they would only be weird redecos or unknown characters.

The downside is that the diecast ones are now too heavy for the Devastator Trackset to launch (which might have been a factor for doing plastic RPMs in the first place). And Jetfire is too wide to fit as well, even with the wings folded up.

I was a kmart tonight and spotted tags for scout 3 pack for $35 and legends 4 pack for $25. they had no figures just empty space were they are going to go. Does anyone know what these are?

The Scout 3-pack is old stock from Hasbro... must be clearing out their chinese factories in the move to Vietnam.

The 'Warriors From Three Worlds' 3-pack of Cybertron Scouts was released in America in September 2009 (for US$20) and are straight repacks - no redecos.

The 'Desert Decimation' (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/new-movie-legends-four-pack---desert-decimation-169796/)4-pack of Legends is new though, and hasn't even been released in America yet.

BTW, those are fairly good prices for us in Australia. Three Scouts here would be $45-55 individually, while 4 Legends here would be $30-40.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like we're going to get the (comparative) bargain of MP Starscream again :(

But $150 is at least the "right" price for the toy (assuming Japanese MP Grimlock avarages $130-140 for the toy alone, with $20-30 shipping), so this ends up being cheaper on average, at least.

Was excited to spot this guy amongst the 500 recon ravages at my local TRU! :)

There's at least 4 in Miranda Shopping Ctr (Sydney Sth) at $150 a piece. They're away from display up on the top shelf, don't miss them! :)

$150 seems a bit of a gouging, and part of me wanted to wait for some special or something, but I don't think he'll hang around like Ultimate 'Bee...
