Sighted in the last few days, the second wave of Rescue Bots Feature Bots, and the first wave of 2016 RID 1-step toys.

Found today at Woolworths Garden City, the wave 2 Rescue Bots Feature Bots (figurine with moving part) Optimus Prime... which came out with High Tide, but I couldn't find any others at this store.
It was $10, which is a bit much, as they are US$5 in America.

http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2016ww04.jpg

Myer at Highpoint Shopping Centre - they had the new RID 1-steps (Springload, Quillfire, new Bumblebee, new Sideswipe), for the first time at a major retailer, some months after they were released in America.

Listed as in-stock at the Target website, but not yet in stores (maybe an online exclusive), are the Combiner Wars Gen2 coloured Menasor and Superion.
These are also expected at ToysRUs, who are more likely to have them available in store, as they are more able to have them in display cases to protect them.

Hey guys!

For anyone who read Griffin's news from last weekend's Australian Toy Fair (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=22670), you'd know that Target is looking to stock the G2-themed Combiner Wars Gestalt giftsets...

Well, online, they've kept to their word on 2 out of 3 of them and they're AVAILABLE NOW!

Menasor (https://www.target.com.au/p/transformers-generations-combiner-wars-menasor-collection-pack/58978122) - $199 + Free Postage

A couple of smaller items - RID Tiny Titans wave 5, found in February but stores are slow to get in stock, so it's taken a while to get a photo... plus, Rescue Bots "friends" Drake and Servo.

Tinyjazz sent me a photo last week to post up, showing that we did indeed miss Wave 4 of the RID Tiny Titans.

New sightings from the last week...

RID Deployer Crazybolt with Hammer at BigW, possibly a world first.

Plus a heap of new Rescue Bots toys showing up at Kmart to go with the two pets in the previous posting - Rescue Trailers (Heatwave & Chase), Megabots (High Tide & Optimus), regular bots (Medix and Boulder).

The wife found this today in BigW in Penrith, it was the only one there. Price was $28.00.

With all the excitement around the world first release of Titans Return toys in Australia, and with Fortress Maximus, the new tallest Transformers toy (according to head height), there have been a number of other first sightings in the last couple of weeks that haven't been highlighted...

- Japanese import Masterpiece Road Rage at ToysRUs for $130.
- GEN Combiner Victorion at ToysRUs for $200.
- GEN Combiners G2 Menasor and G2 Superion are also at ToysRUs stores, after only being available so far on the Target website.
- RID Power Surge Bumblebee & Sideswipe at Toyworlds for $60 (a world first retail sighting)
- RID Tiny Titans wave 6 at Coles.
- Rescue Bots Stations (small playsets) for $25 at ToysRUs (who are now stocking most of the Rescue Bots toys, when it was just Kmart before).
- And some 2014/2015 Kreo items have been found at a discount outlet store chain in Western Australia, including the RID Custom Kreons & a TF4 movie buildset.

Also being found at BigW stores now, for their upcoming mid-year toysale, is Fortress Maximus for $249. Just be aware that it takes time for stock to arrive at all stores, so give it a week for it to show up at your nearest store before bugging them about it.

The next of the Titans Return toys have been found in Australia - Soundwave from Wave 2... before wave 1 Leader toys were found here, so hopefully we didn't miss them.
Also found in the last week was a re-release of the Rescue Bots Optimus with Trailer toy at Kmart, after many stores were shelfwarming the first version for over 2 years (and some still have it).

TR Galvatron, Sentinel Prime ($49.99) and Soundwave ($79.99) at Top Ryde Toymate

TR Soundwave $99 at tate's toy world Shannon Avenue, geelong's only castle.

Toyworld Success have Titans Return Galvatron, Sentinel Prime and Soundwave in stock.
http://i.imgur.com/n78ppEG.png

And at Kmart Sunnybank, a large range of Transformers, including a new reissue of Rescue Bots Optimus with trailer.... after taking 2-3 years to finally sell the first release of this toy.
And even more amusing is the price - the reissue of the trailer version is $39, while the non-trailer version (that came out a couple months ago with High Tide) is also $39.

A correction to the previous post, as the wave 1 Leaders (Optimus & Blaster) were actually reported first, by 3 hours, before Soundwave was reported here.

Also here now are the RID Battlepack wave 1 toys - Optimus with Bludgeon, Sideswipe with Anvil - found at a couple of ToysRUs stores this weekend for $30 each.

Toymate at Lakehaven has Leader class Prime and Blaster for $78 each I think.

Haven't seen these before. 2 pack RID legends and mini-con combo pack. $30 each at TRU Doncaster. I like the look of that Optimus but it's an only when it's on sale kinda like :p

ToysRUs look to be the first Major Retailer here to get in the (almost) full range of the Titans Return toys, with all but Voyagers found in some stores in the ACT and NSW today, so expect them to show up in other stores around the country within the week as well.

PLUS, Combiner Wars Gen2 Bruticus and Computron at ToysRUs as well, for the usual $200.

Yes it is, 'Decepticon Island' or 'Clash of the Transformers' box or something. It says only at Toys R Us. There was no price sticker on the box or on the shelf, the price-check scanner says $79.99 :)

I didn't even know this was a thing until you mentioned it. Saw it at TRU Moorabbin today. It's something TFs have never really done before - a playset for regular figures and weapon pack. Pretty nifty for fans of the line (although they may already have the two Warrior class toys)

The RID 1-step 6-pack is now in Australia for $79, and is a Target exclusive like in America.
Unlike the TF4 Movie 6-pack of 1-steps, this set has a remoulded Optimus toy, not just a redeco... and it is the only way you can get it.
Unfortunately, just like the Movie 6-pack, the other five toys all appear to be exact reissues of the regular single pack toys.

Hervey Bay Target had nothing new except for the RID 1 step 6-pack, which is apparently a target exclusive, and has an deco for 1 step optimus prime which isn't available anywhere else.

After a slow start to the year following the Christmas clearout (like last year), we are now getting some new items showing up in stores in the last week.

But first, two items I missed from December.
Mid December saw the long-lost RID Bumblebee Blaster from late 2015 appear at a Toyworld in Melbourne... but yet to be noticed anywhere else.
Then in late December, we saw the RID Combiner Force 1-step wave 1 appear, with the new mould Bumblebee, Drift and Optimus.

The surge of new toys for Australia continues, with two of the last three waves of RID Warriors showing up at Targets and Kmarts, along with the fourth wave of Titans Return Voyager (Broadside)... and we haven't even had a proper dissemination of the third wave (Optimus & Megatron) here yet.

Did the rounds after work tonight. Nothing to report at BigW Glenorchy except for a few dribbles of voyagers and one Twinferno. K-Mart Newtown however, although no wave 3 legends (Curse you Gnaw!!!!!!!) DID have the new RID warrior class figures of Scorponok, Windblade and Optimus. Only one or two if each though and that was it :P

I think this might be a first sighting, Combiner Force Warrior class toys $29 at Chadstone Target

Thought this might have meant we missed wave 7 and 8 but I see Samtron reported a sighting on wave 7 (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?p=549399) (Prime, Windblade and Scorponok) in TAS
http://i.imgur.com/XKsD1jyl.jpg

Can confirm there was 1 Broadside at Big W Tuggerah. I bought him. Surprising given there were only a few old legends and Wave 1 Voyagers.

The fourth wave Leader Skyshadow has now been found at Myer.

Out this week are some new toys for the Bisk fans and Rescue Bots fans.
RID Legion Bisk has been found at a Woolworths store, along with Blurr, who is actually the "new" toy for the second wave of Combiner Force Legions, but since we missed the Bisk wave from 2016, his "repack" status in this wave makes him new to Australia.

And as for Rescue Bots, the new gimmick for 2017 has arrived - Flip Changers - with the first wave being found, containing Hoist, Heatwave, Medix and Optimus. Probably best wait for the frequent 30% off sales at Coles, as these are $12 each, but are only US$6 each in America... making them way overpriced here.
Also, the next wave of Rescue Bots "Friends" have been found at a Kmart in Perth, which has Valor the blue lion, and should also have Fireplug the white dog as well (an identical release to the one in the garage playset from last year).

I'm a bit out of the loop, was the second wave of rid legions found already?

Because woolies hogans corner has them, with Bisk and blurr, not sure what else was in the same carton though

The Titanmasters from wave four (Repugnus and Shuffler) are now out in Australia, with a couple of Perth Kmart stores stocking them first.

Just grabbed Titan Masters Shuffler and Repugnus from Kmart Midland.

That still leaves the Legends (Brawn & Roadburn) and the Deluxes (Kup, Perceptor, Krok, Quake, Topspin) to be found here... after being out in other countries since February.

Fans of Rescue Bots, we've had another surge of new toys in the last month here, with the Flip Changers (single and 3-packs), Rescue Team multi-packs, and the third wave of the Friends/Minicons (Swift the cheetah and Fireplug the dog).

Sunday 5th February at Garden City, while checking the McDonalds for their happy meal toys.

ToysRUs - another week, another shrinking of their assortment of Transformers toys on the shelves...
On the other hand, in their Playskool section, they had two new Transformers Rescue Bots toys come in... so new, that neither of them were scanning up today when I tried to buy them.
The main transforming bots had the latest wave come in, with Quickshadow (for $23 each, and a first sighting for Australia), and the redeco Elite Bot Heatwave, which was first found in Toyworld on Christmas Eve. I think the Morbot toy was released with Quickshadow, but I didn't see it (the shelves were a mess).
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2017tru04.jpg

Toyworld Macgregor just got in a new shipment of Rescue Bots, including the new Flip Changers (single packs and 3-packs, which is a first sighting for Australia), and the most recent wave of transforming "Rescan" bots with Quickshadow and Morbot.
Prices are $13 for the single packs, $35 for the 3-packs, and $23 for the Rescan bots.

FINALLY... the last of the fourth wave of Titans Return toys have been found in Australia, some 3 months after they were first released in Asia.
This is the wave with Quake, Krok, Topspin, Perceptor and Kup.
(we do still need to get a proper release of wave 4 Voyager Broadside though)

Okay, screw RID. Just found Quake and Krok in Civic Target.

Edit: naturally, they're not in the system and don't scan. But eventually they found a code they could use.

But it raises the question - did they leave all the Autobots out the back, or do they only have half the wave?

Looks like we might have the second wave of Movie Legions after all, as Drift, Crosshairs and Megatron have been found at Kmart and BigW, a week after wave 3 (Hound and Dragonstorm) were being found at Kmart.

Did some recon today. Cannon Hill Kmart.
Interestingly they had a movie legion Drift. Almost pretty enough to make me buy him against my will. He is still there.

Saw those exact three legion class figs today at Big W Maddington. Megs and Crosshairs looked nice but I left them on the pegs. There was at least one of Drift and Crosshairs with loads a Megs.

Wave 3 Movie 1-steps have been found at a Target store in Victoria, which has Cogman, Scorn and Drift... all with the new Cyberfire gimmick promo on the front of the packaging (to encourage you to buy the large Dragonstorm 1-step toy, to activate the hidden paint details that are actually on all 1-step toys, not just the later waves).

Was at Chadstone at lunchtime

Target: They had "Cyberfire" One Steps Scorn, Cogman and Drift which I assume are a newer wave?

As some had suggested some time ago, Zing have started stocking the second Movie Masterpiece toy - Optimus Prime... for $198.
It is likely to be their exclusive, as Bumblebee didn't end up showing up at other retailers.

Zing at Greensborough had an MPM-04 for $198 (emphasis on had :p)

Also had a sale where depending on what level EB member you were gave increasing discount from 10 - 20%

So might be worth checking out your local

Sighted yesterday at Zing CBD store by member JustOwen, Movie Masterpiece Optimus for $198. (along with Bumblebee for $148).

Found yesterday at two different Toyworlds, RID Combiner Galvatronus (wave 2) in Melbourne, and TF5 Sqweeks Voice Changer Mask (wave 2) plus the Rescue Bots Flip Racer Chomping trackset in Brisbane.

Sunbury Sightings
Toyworld: the RiD team combiners. Interestingly they had all 3 whereas on Saturday there was only a single Menasor there so they must have restocked with a new wave. $59.99 each, 1 Menasor, 2 Ultra Bee, 2 Galvatronus.

At Westfield Indooroopilly yesterday.

Toyworld - had the wave 2 Sqweeks voice-changer mask ($70) and the new Rescue Bots Flip Racer Chomping trackset ($60).

Found at the CBD Toyworld yesterday by member Justowen, the wave 5 Titans Return Legends (Seaspray and Cosmos) for $23.
That just leaves Ramhorn and Overlord left to be released here. The Legends were unlikely to show up here, with the new POTP toyline just weeks away, so who knows... maybe we might still see those other two here as well.

A couple of new sightings from today, and some less popular items from last week.
Today, found at Toyworld in the ACT was the first wave of Studio Series Leaders (Blackout and Grimlock), for $90.
And at a QLD Woolies, the first wave of the small sized Authentics (Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream), for $10 each.

And from the previous week or two, the second wave of RID 3-steps (new mould Grimlock and redeco Thunderhoof), which we skipped last year when wave 3 and 4 were being released while the RID toyline was still going.
Plus the fourth "wave" of 2017 Rescue Bots Rescan bots, which saw the release of the launcher trailer Optimus as just the cab on its own. (this might have been seen last month in NSW, but was not verified)

Meanwhile, the rarely seen Titans Return Seaspray and Cosmos wave, are appearing at a few more Toyworlds recently, so might continue to show up around the country before that line disappears completely here.

I was amazed to find the new Transformers Authentics line at Woolworths Runaway Bay (isle 10 or 11, on the left hand side, whole new shelves of Hasbro toys including Marvel Infinity Wars Wave 2!). They had two full sets (Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream). I didn't care what they were in price (no shelf tag) but was delighted when they scanned in at only $10 each.

The receipt scans in as #Transformers Generations Asst @ $10.00

I would think if it hits Kmart or Big W you might see them a little less, as Woolworths toys don't compete on price. But how awesome to find these at retail. I hope is means we will see the larger size class too eventually, but might just be a one off

http://www.toycollectors.com.au/news/2018/040401.jpg

SS Grimlock and Blackout at Toyworld $90 damn they look good!

Kmart - had the newest Rescue Bots "rescan" Optimus, which is the one that was packed with the launcher trailer and Blurr.
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2018km08.jpg

ToysRUs -
and a few RID toys. (plus the newest Rescue Bots "rescan" Optimus in the Playskool section)

Toyworld Macgregor - Titans Return Seaspray and Cosmos, which were sighted at the CBD Toyworld store, so might now be showing up at other Toyworlds now.
I also saw a Deluxe Slugslinger as well.

The rest of the Studio Series toys have now been found, at several Toyworlds in Victoria today.
Deluxes were for $35.
Voyagers for $49-50.
Leaders for $90.
(prices can vary among Toyworld stores)

Also note that the photo below is our first photo proof of the giant Rescue Bots Optimus Flip-Racer launcher trailer, which had an unverified sighting on another fansite back in December.

Some new toys found in the last week in Australia.

- POTP w2 Deluxe - a single sighting so far of Snarl at a BigW in Brisbane, so hopefully this means wave 2 is actually out here.
- POTP w2 Voyager (Elita-1 and Hungrrr) - found at a Kmart in Sydney.
- TF5 Movie w3 Deluxe (2nd Bumblebee, Crosshairs, Strafe) - found at a Toymate in Sydney, which should be getting their stock from Hasbro Australia like Toyworld.
- Rescue Bots "Nightwatch" Optimus (with 2 Minicons) - found at a Toyworld in Melbourne.
- Rescue Bots Flip Racer Blurr racetrack set - found at a ToysRUs in Brisbane.
- Rescue Bots Flip Racer w2 3-pack (Heatwave, Boulder, Quickshadow) - found at a ToysRUs in Brisbane.
- Rescue Bots Megabot Boulder - found at a Kmart in Brisbane.

And it looks like Transformers have returned to David Jones, after a 7-8 year hiatus. Don't expect much of a range, or competitive prices... but they can be used as a last resort if they are sitting on something that has disappeared everywhere else.

Slug, snarl, swoop at bigw Strathpine. $29 each.

Sighted in the last 24 hours, a heap of BigW stores have been stocking all four of the Leader Class POTP toys for this week's toy sale (to be $68 during the sale), which includes the wave 2 Rodimus Unicronus and wave 3 Optimal Optimus.

Plus, Toyworlds in Brisbane have been seeing the wave 3 Legends toys Outback and Cindersaur.

Big W at Woden have a few Evolution Rodimus Unicronus & Evolution Optimal Optimus PotP figures.

Several HUGE sightings from today, and one from a week ago.

- POTP wave 3 Voyager Inferno found at a BigW in NSW.
- Studio Series wave 2 Voyager Brawl & Megatron found at a Toyworld in Victoria.
- POTP wave 2 Deluxe finally having a confirmed appearance at a BigW in Canberra.

And the big news, Cyberverse hitting Australia before the rest of the world, but since it was at a Victorian Toyworld, it might have been an accidental early release, as we've had some Movie toys in recent years being released early by accident.
Then again, these could be their official release, and we just got lucky with the toys... but not the prices, as the Toyworld prices were apparently not right, with them being way over their normal size-class price point.

Three sizes found - Scout, Warrior and 1-Step.

I found wave 2 of the voyagers studio series. Its at Toyworld Traralgon. Had two Brawl's and now only one Megatron. $54 each if your wondering on price. I have a picture on my phone.

Apparently Snarl and Sludge were found at a Big W in Canberra. Should see them pop up soon I hope

Looks like we have a first sighting in victoria with toyworld werribee plaza having the new cyberverse line in one steps deluxe-ish size and legends-ish classes but at the price of over $42.99 (if I recall correctly, was about to grab the shockwave but I swear I saw double digits and it looked like 40+ wtf) for the deluxish guys who are more simplified than rid's line I'm not even going to go touch them

A surprise find at a ToysRUs in NSW today, with the first sighting of Masterpiece Barricade and Studio Series Thundercracker.
Considering that ToysRUs are now winding up operations in Australia, these toys must have been received, or bought, before the official notice was made of the business being closed up.

Now to see if they show up at all stores, or just the ones closest to their Sydney warehouse (because it would be the cheapest option while they are minimising costs now).

This was a toy that was not expected here, according to Hasbro Australia earlier this year, so it might have been sent here recently from China as excess stock they couldn't send anywhere else.

We also have the large sized "Authentic" figures showing up at Coles, for $20 each. The first wave has Bumblebee, Grimlock and Optimus.

- Rescue Bots Epic (non-transforming) Optimus Prime found at Kmart and Toymate.

Three new items found this weekend at three different Target stores.
- Studio Series wave 3 Deluxe Shadow Raider (should also have the VW Bumblebee and DOTM Ratchet).
- Bumblebee Movie Titan Changers Shatter, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime.
- Rescue Bots Flip Racer pullback Heatwave and Quickshadow for $24 each.

According to dirge last night, the wave 3 Studio Series Deluxe Shadow Raider (orange Lockdown) was found at a Target store in Sydney (Rhodes).
If that's true, it might mean that we missed wave 2 (Jazz, Lockdown), and it should mean that the VW Bumblebee and DOTM Ratchet are out with it.

- Rescue Bots Rescan, waves 18 & 19, which has the new figures of Race Car Heatwave and ATV Bumblebee.
- POTP Nemesis Prime is a store exclusive to Amazon Australia, and is now available there for $100. (they are also the only ones outside of Toyworld to have POTP Predaking from Hasbro Australia)

- Energon Igniter Power Plus w2 Shatter, found at BigW.
- Bumblebee Movie Titan Changer w2 (re-release of TF5 Bumblebee and Megatron) also found at BigW.
- also, the Trading Card Game has now appeared at two national retailers - Kmart and BigW, with the Starter Pack being $24-25 and the Booster Packs being $6-7.

Garden City BigW tonight...

They must have had a restock since I was last there, as they had the 2nd wave Power Plus Shatter toy....
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/news/2018/110901.jpg

...and, the second wave of Titan Changers (which is not only a world first, but completely unknown). But it's nothing exciting, as it is just a re-release of Optimus from wave one in new packaging, while the two "new" figures are only the other two TF5 Titan Changers (Camaro Bee and Megatron)... which all look to be identical to their earlier releases.

http://www.toycollectors.com.au/news/2018/110902.jpg

I also found the Trading Card Game Starter Pack and booster packs... but took me a while to find them. They were in the DVD area, but with such a small range of trading cards, it isn't a big section to stand out.

After a relatively quiet December and early January, we've seen another surge of new Transformers toys hit the stores in Australia in the last week... but unfortunately, they are very slow to appear around the country (most sightings so far are from Toyworlds in Victoria).
- WFC Siege - still waiting for the toyline to show up in the major retailers (other than Toyworld), the second wave has already been found, with Battlemasters Aimless and Pteraxadon found in NSW and ACT... and we are still yet to see the Micromasters at all (the wave 1 Leaders were also just found in NSW and VIC).
- Movie Mission Vision - the two gimmick toys of Bumblebee and Shatter were found at a couple of Toyworlds in the southern states, for about $40 each.
- Also from the Bumblebee Movie toyline comes the second wave of Nitro sized Energon Ignitors, with Blitzwing and Dropkick found at Kmarts and BigWs in a few different states.
- Rescue Bots fans haven't missed out either with more of the Academy toys appearing (Mega Mighties Bumblebee & Hotshot for $20 at Toyworld) and a new wave of Rescan bots with the new VTOL Blades (should also have the new cement mixer Salvage) found at Kmart.

Just been told by a member of a Facebook group I help admin that Siege figures, including leader class Shockwave and Ultra Magnus, have been spotted at Wauchope Toyworld. The leaders were priced (possibly incorrectly) at $79.

More of wave 2 of the WFC Siege toyline continues to be found at Australian retail, while we still wait for the national retailers to even stock the toyline. As such, we might not end up seeing wave 1 of most size classes at stores like Kmart, Target and BigW... whenever they eventually get those sizes in.

Found at several Toymate and Toyworld stores this week in different states (as well as one Target store today), are the second wave Deluxe toys - Ironhide, Prowl, Sixgun and Chromia.
To play it safe, if you are wanting to make sure you get any of the wave 1 toys, perhaps check out Amazon (Australia or America - the stock will come from America), or any other online store that has them that you trust.

Was at the Toymate in the Lidcombe Station near Olympic Park, found all Wave 2 Siege Deluxes.

Toyworld Noosa has Sixgun, Ironhide, Chromia, Prowl, Starcream and Soundwave, but they've raised the prices to $39.99 and $54.99 respectively, so I skipped it. Can't wait for these to show up at normal retail.

Found in the last couple of weeks in Australia...
- Botbots series 2 8-packs and single packs (the 5-packs were first found in February)
- Rescue Bots rescan wave 23 (new Hotshot VTOL jet, new Wedge snowplow, and re-release minor redeco Bumblebee from wave 22, which we didn't get here, so this is new for us too)
- Series 2 Transformers TCG booster packs found at BigW.
- UK Rescue Bots magazine (issue 17) found at Coles for $11.
- Cyberverse Ultra Slipstream (was released with Optimus in wave 3, but isn't being found in many stores, so Optimus might be on its own in a revision wave)
- Cyberverse Ultimate w2 Bumblebee.
- JP Golden Lagoon 3-pack and Starscream, and JP MP Shadow Panther at Mr Toys Toyworld in Brisbane (could be exclusive).

Right now, I'm looking at Rise of the Combiner boosters at kmart Caloundra. $7.

Toyworld Macgregor

Golden Lagoon 3-pack - $129 (a great price, as it would have cost about AU$115 in Japan when it was released, BEFORE shipping)
Golden Lagoon Starscream - $80 (not a great price, as it was originally about AU$55 on release... but might be a lot more on the secondary market by now)
(although, buying both together offsets one bad price with one great one)
Shadow Panther - $129 (it might be $19 more than what TRU were pre-selling theirs for before they went bust, but it would still be cheaper than importing one, as it was originally about AU$115 in Japan)

They still had about six of the 3-pack and about 10 of Starscream, and more Shadow Panthers than I could count, so they will probably be there for a while.
NOTE - these are NOT behind the front counter where they usually keep the rarer collectables... they are in the first aisle with the Model Kits.

Considering this toy has seen an early release in North America (before its scheduled July release), it could actually be here now as well... but with only Toyworld and Toymate stocking Leader Class toys in Australia, it might not be easy to track this down domestically.

Siege Jetfire at Amazon for $150 (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07JLY4YH4/) (which can sometimes be found listed for as low as $125).
Siege Omega Supreme at Amazon for $300 (https://www.amazon.com.au/Transformers-Generations-Cybertron-WFC-S29-Supreme/dp/B07JN6VVMT/) (which can sometimes be found listed for as low as $245).
(note - make sure you select Amazon Australia as the source if not on the main page... they may not be currently in-stock, but they have access to stock from Hasbro Australia)

BotBots series 3 (orange bubbles) 5-packs - found first at BigW ($15) and Toyworld ($17).
Bumblebee Movie Soundwave with Doombox pack (US Target exclusive for US$50) - found at Toymate for $45.

October was pretty quiet for new Transformers here, so most of these were found in the last couple of weeks in November...
- Cyberverse Cheetor (store exclusive in America, found on the Toyworld website here).
- Cyberverse Scout wave 4 (Scraplet & Axe Optimus) reported first on our facebook page.
- MPM-9 Movie Jazz (a pre-order item at EB Games came out on October 28th, so there might be some stores with one from cancelled orders, but not enough units to be listed on their site).
- WFC Siege Micromaster w3 (Decepticon Sports Car patrol) found at Toymate.
- Cyberverse Spark Armor Battle class w2 (Ratchet, Shockave) found at a Target in Brisbane.
- Rescue Bots Rescan Whirl (and Grimlock) found at Toymate.
- Botbots Single packs series 3 (orange) and 4 (blue) found at BigW stores in the same week.
- WFC Siege Leader Astrotrain, found at a couple of Toymates (ACT & Robina).

The main Toyworld site has the Cyberverse Cheetor listed, for $50 (https://www.toyworld.com.au/transformers-cyberverse-spark-armor-elite-class-cheetor-sea-fury)... so it could end up appearing in Toyworld stores.
This appeared briefly on the Mighty Ape site (which would have been Australian stock sent to New Zealand), but if anyone has actually ordered this and got the Cheetor toy (in other words, it isn't a mistaken listing), then that means we got another of the various 2019 exclusives here in Australia... not that it was one many serious collectors would have been after, but it is so far the only official toy of a major season 2 cartoon character.

From the last week...
Garden City on Friday...
BigW - The new Cyberverse Scouts Scraplet and Axe Optimus, plus a new pre-pack display with some recent release Transformers toys in it (only on one of the four sides though).
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/2019bw57.jpg

Target - had the wave 2 Cyberverse Spark Armor Battle Class (Ratchet & Shockwave).

http://www.toycollectors.com.au/news/2019/112101.jpg

Today at Logan Hyperdome, for the opening weekend of the new Toymate store there (where Myer used to be).
The most notable items I saw at the store were heaps of Siege Thundercracker, Megatron and Reflector's wave of Deluxes, plus wave 3 Micromasters (Blackjack & Hyperdrive, which the master cartons must have come with wave 1 Autobot Race Car Patrol and Battle Patrol, which didn't officially get released here as we missed wave 1), plus the Bumblebee Movie Soundwave pack (the Titans Return Soundwave) for $45, the Botbots series 3 5-packs and Arcade pack, and a lonely new release Rescue Bot toy (Racer car Whirl).

Went looking for Series 3 Botbot singles at Karingal Big W. Didn’t find any. What I did find was Series 4 singles. Wasn’t expecting that!

There was a full set there. I didn’t buy them all, just a select few, and I haven’t opened them yet so no idea whether or not I’ve scored any of the rare golden ones.

I didn't realise I hadn't been updating this topic in almost four months. I think I've just been updating other topics (like news postings) and pages (like our facebook page), and leaving this one until last.... and then just forgetting about it if I ran out of time.

A quick bit of catchup then....

NOV 25th - WFC-S Deluxe w5 (Crosshairs, Spinister) - first sighted at Myer.
NOV - WFC-S Deluxe w4 (Impactor, Mirage, Barricade) - only ended up at Amazon Australia.

MAR 7th - Studio Series VOY w8 (Mixmaster, Megatron) - first sighted at a Toyworld in VIC.

MAR 13th - Botbots s3 8-packs - first sighted at a Kmart in QLD for $25.

For those noticing a lot of first sightings for Toyworld in VIC and Toyworld in QLD, it is likely to be because Toyworld's warehouse is in Melbourne so if Toyworld are first to get new stock, their stores in VIC would get stock first..... while the QLD stores are mostly Mr Toys Toyworlds which have their own distribution warehouse, so if they get new stock first, their QLD stores are first to get it.

From Mid March to June we had a lockdown that limited the turnover of stock, and saw only 5 new items showing up at major retailers in that 2 and half month period.
First sightings postings here and on our facebook page were suspended during that time so that it didn't encourage people to ignore any local restrictions that may have been in place in their state, or be a tease to those who adhered to the restrictions and stayed at home.

After that last posting on March 16th, the next new item to be found here was April 24th...

APR 24th - Rescue Bots Trailer Bases (Wedge, Hoist) - sighted at Kmart for $39.

Earthrise Leader wave 2 Doubledealer found at Toymate stores, about a week after showing up at Uncle Petes.
Also, the 5th wave of Siege Micromasters have suddenly shown up at Toymate and Toyworld stores in the southern states.

Toyworld Werribee plaza has micromasters rat bat and rumble and direct-hit and power punch. $10 each. Plenty there.

A couple of recent finds at Australian retail.
Rescue Bots "rescan" wave 28 - Chase dragracer and Medix offoad. Found at a Kmart in Brisbane.
Cyberverse Ultimate class Iaconus, found at a Toyworld in Perth.

Back at Garden City...
Kmart - a lot of empty space and pegs. The only new items were Rescue Bots, which were wave 28 of the "Rescan" assortment, which has new figures of Chase dragster and Medix offroad (comes with a re-release of Grimlock, which is a fun toy).

Let's see if I can re-start using this topic from 2022... as it can be easier for me to use for first sightings posted on other sites that may not be applicable to a single sightings topic here.

That's now 3 of the 4 Golden Disk packs here.

The third Golden Disk set is now on Amazon Australia as Australian stock - the truck 2-pack (Puffer and Road Ranger) (https://www.amazon.com.au/Hasbro-Transformers-Generations-War-Cybertron/dp/B08YK51RKT/), for $75.

Also on Amazon Australia as Australian stock is some of the new wave of Studio Series - Ratchet (https://www.amazon.com.au/Transformers-Studio-Ratchet-Multicolour-F3163/dp/B09H1JNJRW/) and Brawn (https://www.amazon.com.au/Transformers-Studio-Brawn-Multi-F3172/dp/B09H1XCSNV/). The wave mates Wheeljack and Perceptor are either sold out already, or not yet up.
Significantly different prices for Ratchet and Brawn, which is weird and annoying.

Meanwhile, the Studio Series grey NEST Bumblebee jeep (https://www.amazon.com.au/Transformers-Studio-Bumblebee-Multi-F0922/dp/B09F4ZJXPJ/) is back up again as Australian stock, after disappearing (again) last week... still saying out of stock, but allows you to "purchase" one (and then leaves it in limbo on your orders page).

Studio Series Coronation Starscream at Target, but currently online only:

Ah, looks like I forgot to mention back on March 1st that SS Starscream and SS Soundwave both showed up on the Target website, but only as online purchasing... which I guess made it difficult to have as a physical sighting. Soundwave has since shown up at EBGames stores, and maybe Starscream as well (both also showed up on Amazon Australia later as well, but again, these two seem to be stubbornly NOT showing up at national retailers).

After two false starts (listing it and then cancelling all orders, twice), Amazon Australia have finally had the SS-77 grey jeep NEST Bumblebee (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09F4ZJXPJ/)in stock, as of yesterday... but they only had a couple of units last night, so either they didn't get much, or they sold out very fast to people who check Amazon Australia very frequently.
(mine shipped today, after ordering it last night)

Meanwhile, wave 3 of the Classic Heroes Teams toys (now dropping the "Rescue Bots" logo) has shown up in Australia as well, with the new mould Optimus and Grimlock.

The Walmart Legacy beasts that were up on the Target website a couple weeks ago, have now been found in a store in WA.

Target Joondalup has the Legacy beast wars repaints:

2 Sandstorm and Buzzsaw, 1 Nightprowler.

Also, Motormaster toys are now shipping to BigW stores ready for the sale, but are supposed to be held out back until the sale starts - some people have been able to get their hands on one already though, so it is technically out, but not guaranteed at every BigW stores before June 16th.

Motormaster has showed up on the Big W Website (https://www.bigw.com.au/product/transformers-generations-legacy-series-commander/p/209423?fbclid=IwAR11yov-VNZd_kDfVj5r7UtRBZHgpo3wcbTXCpx2MWg9SqZwExTtJB8i88 U), and with a few reported sightings, I guess they are getting him ready for the toy sale.

Yeah got mine this morning, and someone saw staff getting in trouble for selling early at another store

And sighted at Kmart and Mr Toys is wave 12 of the Cyberverse 1-steps, which was the second wave of year 4 (in green packaging), that are all re-releases - Optimus Prime, Blurr, Repugnus, (Cybertronian) Megatron.

This year's small Authentics toy (Arcee) is now being found at Woolworths stores, at their current price of $11.
Just look out for the price being scanned, as it is a new figure, so the system appears to read the barcode as if it is the master carton of figures.
Eventually they will fix it up in the system.
The same thing happened last year with Barricade when it was first found, as it scanned up as the master carton of 8, which was 8 times the price.

The rest of wave 2 Legacy is now out somewhere in Australia, with the Core class and Voyager Soundwave available for purchase on Amazon Australia (and I saw Soundwave listed at EBGames too).
Wave 2 Core class also has the re-release of Kingdom Optimus, which is probably on there somewhere, but I wasn't going to track it down.

The various wave 2 Legacy toys that did NOT have a release date, have been released by Amazon Australia... but it looks like they are being forced to adhere to the release dates of the rest, even though they are already hitting stores that don't care about release dates.

Core class Shockwave (https://www.amazon.com.au/TRA-GEN-Legacy-CORE-Shockwave/dp/B09H147JXC/) and Gen2 Megatron (https://www.amazon.com.au/TRA-GEN-Legacy-CORE-Megatron/dp/B09H1653S1/).

Voyager class Soundwave (https://www.amazon.com.au/TRA-GEN-Legacy-Voyager-Soundwave/dp/B09H1HCJXT/) (clean deco Siege toy) - this one didn't have a release date or pre-order listing, so it was available for purchase a few days ago, which means that Amazon Australia definitely has the case-mate Jhiaxus as well, but while it has a release date of August 15th, they won't risk releasing it early unless instructed to by the supplier (Hasbro).

Shattered Glass Blaster has been found at several EBGames/Zing stores for $70.

This was meant to be released second in mid-September, but since it wasn't listed for pre-order at EBGames (at least, I can't find any record of it), it appears that they released the stock to stores to sell... and they only hold back stock if it had an official release date set by the supplier (as we see on the Amazon Australia listing for SG Blaster, which had it listed for $69, but at one stage it was $61). So if you are wanting one before mid-September, and don't mind paying the extra $9 (if you pre-ordered it at Amazon before the price went back up to $69), best to go to a Zing or EBGames store and have a look, or call up and hope that they know what to look for.

I can't find a listing for it on either site (EB or Zing), so it must be something that they indeed sent to stores without warning, and staff have just put them out on the shelf without even adding it to their website for people to order it online to pickup/deliver.

Same thing has happened at JB Hi Fi with SG Ultra Magnus.

Yes, it looks like all over the country just got in SG Ultra Magnus, and yet it is not listed on their site either... I guess it was shipped out from the Hasbro warehouse like SG Blaster to each eligible retailer, but some of them never had it listed for pre-order, and as such didn't have an official release date to hold it to.
It is being sold for $99 at JBHifi, which is $5 cheaper than Amazon Australia, and 5 weeks earlier too.

Legacy Motormaster is now being found at other outlets, such as Toyworld and JBHifi... so the "BigW exclusive embargo period" might now be over, and it is shipping out to other retailers. I would imagine that it will show up on Amazon Australia soon too.

Plus... Legacy Metroplex - now out here, at a Toyworld in Victoria first... but the release date at EB and Amazon is mid-September, so a little bit longer to wait if you want to save a little bit on the price.

Legacy Motormaster and METROPLEX at toyworld sunbury

Metroplex is $329.99
I think Motormaster was $179.99

I was tipped off that Studio Series Core class Wheelie (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09H168MB6/) was in stock at Amazon Australia on thursday, as someone ordered it and got it in the mail yesterday... but it is now showing as out of stock, so hopefully they restock soon. It was at their regular Core Class price of $22.
After a bit of searching I found Ratchet as well (https://www.amazon.com.au/TRA-GEN-Studio-CORE-Cyclops/dp/B09H1PN91Z/), but it is showing as US stock for $32!

Both were listed with Movie 7 (Rise of the Beasts) code names, which was why they were hard to find.

The wave 2 Deluxe Velocitron toys have now been seen in Kmart in Australia, after they first showed up in New Zealand a couple weeks ago.

Saw some wave 2 Velocitron figures at Kmart Tuggeranong; Crasher and Shadowstrip, specifically.

The EB Games site is now listing their wave 3 Legacy toys as "out now" as it is October 1st, so people with pre-orders with them might be getting calls to come collect the toys (if they had the stock arrive in time). That includes the Deluxe (Skullgrin, Deadend, Pointblank, Crankcase), Voyager (Armada Starscream, BW Inferno) and maybe Leader (Transmetal Megatron) if they had it listed back with the pre-orders.

And Firestorm sighted one of the toys in the next wave of "Classic Heroes Team" (was Rescue Bots) at a BigW in Victoria, and I spotted both of them at a BigW in Brisbane - both new toys are Megatron, with one turning into a grey drill tank and the other turning into a green alligator.

Technically this was already available at JB Hi-fi for a number of months now, but the amazing price makes it worthwhile to mention.

Also, I don't believe there was ever a listing on the Toymate website, so this could be in-store only, at least for now...

3x MPM-12 Optimus Primes at Toymate Cannington. $90. Grabbed one at that price.

I could not believe how good the Toymate price was when I saw the earlier QLD sighting. They are indeed $90 at Toymate, and not some pricing error, because the tags read "$90, RRP $220". Still two left at Toymate Innaloo after my purchase around 9:15am

Good to see Big W getting Legacy United. I was pretty much convinced they had dropped the Legacy line. I visit my local store frequently. The latest Legacy Deluxes I have seen was Evolution wave 1 (Breakdown, Needlenose etc) and that wave took a very long time to appear. The latest Legacy Voyagers I have seen was Evolution wave 2 (Metalhawk, Twincast) before going back to wave 1 (Leo Prime, Tarn).

I hope Kmart, Target and Myer also get Legacy United in. As much as I like to support JB Hi-Fi (they have been strategic with the TF line), I would like to see more competition and more opportunity to price match. I think Kmart and Target stopped after wave 1 Legacy, and Myer after wave 1 Evolution Deluxes. So I gave up on them too.
