This is just to keep track of what toys are being released in major markets (North America, Asia, Europe) before us, to see what could be here soon.
(and after us if we actually got something first)

This topic will try to include as many "first sightings" of major and minor toys that I come across, and anyone can post here if something is noted as a first sighting on one of the global fansites (or if you've found something first while in that country).

Significant or fan-focused items are likely to also have their own News topic, so don't think that all new toy releases now need to be posted here. This is more for the toys that us older fans are LESS likely to buy, so would waste space if they had their own News topic for being found.

Posting comments about certain toys in this topic is okay, but please see if that toy already has its own news topic first, especially the more significant "fan-focused" items, and post the comments there. (so that it is easier later for people to scroll through the last few pages of this topic to see if something they think is new has been reported yet)

Now that I have monthly Japanese Toy Listings in the News section, and sometimes post updates there if something is now released, this topic has pretty much been just for Hasbro toys... but is not restricted to just Hasbro toys. (it's just easier to look at the Monthly Japanese listing now, if you are looking for the release status of a TakaraTomy toy)

This here is a great archive of first sightings (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-toy-discussion/953417-newly-released-upcoming-toys-hasbro-edition.html) in various countries of the more significant toys, which includes our first sightings, as we keep track of each other's archives.
(and it usually takes me a few weeks to update our own archive Checklist (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=20095))

Damnit when are they releasing Blackout and Rodimus...

rodimus may be a TRU exclusive to be released in July but Blackout has no schedule release date- may not be released at all. But you might consider getting the Japanese version

SharkyMcShark
3rd June 2010, 02:34 PM
I take Rodimus is going the Arcee and Cyb Ratchet route and won't be released here?

griffin
3rd June 2010, 07:29 PM
Rodimus and Cyb Ironhide are meant to be US TRU exclusives later this year. And yes, we won't see them here either.

It also looks like Hasbro aren't releasing Blackout at all now, so the JP version would be the best way to go, to be sure of getting one.

It was anticipated that Hasbro US would catch up their waves to us, but it seems they have returned to be the leading western market again, with the sighting of wave 2 Autobot Alliance Voyagers BanzaiTron and Battle Blades Optimus (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/decepticon-banzaitron-and-battle-blades-optimus-prime-found-at-us-retail-170200/) before us.

August is shaping up to be a huge month for American fans. Not only is wave 2 of the main lines making their way to stores, but heaps of store exclusives as well.

Just sighted today was the 2-packs displayed at BotCon (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/walmart-exclusive-2-packs-found-at-retail-170370/), with a deluxe and a legends figure, loosely inspired by scenes in the TF2 Movie.

We just got in the RPMs Diecast Minivehicles a couple weeks ago (which is the short-lived set of 14 or 15* vehicles in 3 themes - Metal Heroes (8), NEST (3 or 4*), Stunticon (3))... and just this week, the same vehicles are showing up in America (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/transformers-speed-stars-die-cast-vehicles-waves-1-and-2-released-at-us-retail-170395/)in the new Speed Stars packaging - each one with some altered paint decos (some minor, some completely different).

* - wave 1 packaging has NEST Sideswipe listed, wave 2 packaging doesn't, so was probably cancelled.

Also wanted to mention (since he's making me extremely jealous...), Justowen has been finding and buying up quite a few wave 2 toys (AA, PCC, Gen) in HK this week. Shouldn't be too much longer then for them to appear here, hopefully.

Argh, I too am jealous. But at least the longer they take to get here, the better chance that when they do come out, I will have the money for them. :p But I still want them. By that I mean Generations. Haven't really been into the other ones. Not sure why though, they are cool.

Thanks SharkyMcShark and griffin.

This explains why RK was shipping WFC Megatron and not Soundwave (different waves).

Is there any chance that some of the waves might be released at the same time e.g. wave 2 and 3 simultaneously? I recall that this has been done before.

griffin
12th August 2010, 10:57 AM
Simultaneous releases only occur if a wave hasn't been released to the stores when it arrived (like a set release date, but the stock arrived early).
And even if that happens, case assortments are still fixed, so you'd probably still have to go to different stores to get the different waves.

1AZRAEL1
12th August 2010, 10:59 AM
Still a long wait for some of the ones I really want. But at least we should keep our eyes peeled Megs and Darkmount, they should be out in the next week or so I guess.

SharkyMcShark
12th August 2010, 04:03 PM
I thought the waves were only split into groups of two in America (where WFC Bee and OP were a separate wave to Drift and Thrust)

griffin
13th August 2010, 12:01 AM
Nah, first wave had four figures, but each following wave has 2 new ones in it (could be intentional having 2 every wave...).

TRU in America had an advance shipment of WFC Bee and Op for their WFC game preview promo - but as far as I know, nowhere else had a wave of just those two.

griffin
24th August 2010, 01:26 PM
Again from America, where they caught up to our 2 month lead, and now overtaking...
Wave 2 AA Scouts (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/hunt-for-the-decepticons-wave-2-scouts-released-in-the-united-states-170455/) (Insecticon, Oilpan and Breacher)

And closer to the source, in HK, JustOwen has now found wave 3 figures at retail (Gen Soundwave, Red Alert, AA Terradive and Tomahawk), so will be out in America soon as well.

Speed Stars versions of the Lights & Sounds toys (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/speed-stars-lights--sounds-basic-wave-1-assortment-released-at-retail-in-the-us-170454/)are also being found in America (we didn't get the RPMs versions here, and aren't expected to get the SS versions either - NZ will though).

Just some proof that Wave 3 Generations is out now in HK (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/generations-red-alert-released-in-hong-kong/19604/).

Plus Wave 2 Generations appearing in US (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/generations-wave-2-and-hunt-for-the-decepticons-scouts-found-at-us-retail/19608/).

And since the Wave 2 Legends seem to be new in the US (and here), I guess we aren't behind on those... yet.

Generations Wave 2 and 3 Released at US Retail (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/generations-wave-2-and-3-released-at-us-retail-170472/)

griffin
27th August 2010, 06:25 PM
Yeah, but not in the same assortment case... just close enough release from the source to be found at almost the same time at different stores (like the 2 waves of new SWTFs here - same time, but different chains).
When we have assortments only a month apart or less (like the TF2 early waves being only weeks apart), delays in shipping or restocking can cause a 'bottleneck' at Hasbro warehouse, and we have multiple waves appearing at the same time in stores.

Marvel TFs wave (7) with Ghost Rider/motorcycle and Spiderman/helicopter (from the 2-pack) redeco, have been found in America.

The Costco Gold Bumblebee has now hit America as well, for US$42 (plus tax) - so like here, the 'limited' fancy edition with 2 bonus figures, is cheaper than the regular one.

And the Black Human Alliance Sideswipe has also been found in America, but for US$32 (plus tax) at a Walmart... I didn't think they were that expensive over there. It makes our HA prices quite good in comparison.

On a lighter note, it seems that the 'Warriors from Three Worlds' 3-pack (at our Kmarts at the moment), are showing up at US TRU stores for US$25, despite being released to smaller chain stores there for US$15, AND, the individual Scouts were originally priced at about US$6 each. Looks like our TRU chain isn't the only one that likes price-gouging customers.

Apparently isn't a store exclusive - is probably like the Classics Leaders 2-pack (with the Tank Megatron and Optimus with spin gimmick) that came out in 2006 at various stores, or the more recent TF2 Bumblebee Vs Soundwave set.

And the Power Core Combiners 2-pack wave 4 (Groundspike, Skyhammer), which were out in HK about a month ago, have now been found in Canada (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/power-core-combiners-two-packs-wave-4-released-in-canada-171171/). Hi

Long time browser of OCTA forums. Just moved to HK - will keep you guys posted on anything I come across. Toys R Us in HK just stocked up on the Rodimus Cyclonus 2 pack. I got it for $AUD 28 equivalent. Pretty nice pack. Also - just released the dinobot power core combiner 5 set. Same price at about $28AUD. Want to buy dinobots - but can't justify the price at this time. The older PCC 5 set are selling for about $20 AUD. Transformers United generations deluxes are selling for about $15AUD. Picked up the non cybertronian bumblebee. American Generations generally sell cheap here. Jazz selling cheap - only about $10AUD. Looking for a generations as much better paint job. Grapple Voyger only $25AUD - picked up one of those. Lugnuts are the same - but don't like it too much.

Keep you guys informed.

Nice to meet you. Jazz I saw at Mongkok. Have there any sightings of fakes in Mongkok? The prices are really cheap - but always wary.

I wouldn't meeting up some fellow Transformers collectors. Like many - my parents got me heaps of transformers when I was young. I only recently got back into them and I left my old collection is in Australia.

Where are you in Central - I am also in Central. I just moved to Hong Kong so keen to meet new people. Do you guys catch up to do other things?

Drop me a PM with contact details and thanks for the offer to meet up.

And also at US Target, a couple of exclusive 2-packs (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/target-exclusive-cyberverse-two-packs-released-172447/) I didn't even know were coming. An unchanged Legion packed in with a redeco Commander figure.

Dirt Rocket is a yellow redeco of Highwire and still an Autobot.
We didn't even get the first wave of these, in either packaging (TF2 or TF3), so probably won't see this one here either.

The TF3 Human Alliance Flash Freeze Assault pack (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/k-mart-exclusive-flash-freeze-assault-found-at-retail-172873/) (with HA Sideswipe & Icepick) ended up going to US Kmart after all (it wasn't confirmed until now).
Since the regular HA Deluxes are exclusive to BigW here, I think the Kmart exclusives (this one, and the Bumblebee one) have even less chance of being seen here.

And a month after us, America gets the first wave of 12 Speed Stars Diecast minivehicles (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/dark-of-the-moon-speed-stars-wave-1-released-172857/).

Well, the first wave was pretty much everywhere. (Ratchet, Skids, Bbee, Crankcase, Roadbuster, Starscream)
The third wave then appeared next at a couple chains (Laserbeak, TCracker, Mudflap, Nitro Bee)
And then the second wave started appearing at a couple chains as well (Topspin, Barricade, Jolt, Swipe)
Wave 4 has only been sighted at a couple stores (Red Ratchet, Cyberfire Bee).

Hasbro have been doing random Legion/Legends figures in these single packs for about 6 years now, in plain packaging (currently using Generations colours), as cheap toys for stores that don't stock a full range of toys. This latest set has the Reveal the Shield Optimus & Starscream, and Universe Gen2 Megatron and Bumblebee (in colours closer matching the TRU exclusive 4-pack).
These aren't likely to be released here, as previous single pack figures never were.

Wave 3 Deluxes (Knockout, Vehicon V2, Hotshot) have been found in America, just in time for BotCon... but I expect any dealer bringing ones they found would be charging a premium if they don't saturate stores there in the next 3 days (which won't happen).

The UK packaged versions of the TFPrime Cyberverse Vehicles have been released (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-prime-39/transformers-prime-cyberverse-vehicles-released-in-the-uk-175053/), 3 months before the American version (which we get) is to be released (in Aug/Sept).

Very unusual for the UK to get their production run done before the American run.

I just had a look at our checklist and the BotCon exhibit, and it looks like the American release had been pushed back from May to August... but the UK release still went ahead with that May date.

I noticed that the third wave of Single-pack BotShots are now out in America (at the Hasbro online store), and Seibertron has images up of the five (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-transformers-bot-shot-galleries-jetfire-topspin-lockdown-thundercracker-and-super-bot-megatron/25053/) - Lockdown, Jetfire, Mirage, TF3 Topspin, chase Megatron.

The third wave of TF3 Robo Fighter toys have been sighted in America (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys-products-30/dark-of-the-moon-robo-fighters-wave-3-released-175284/), which are just redecos of first wave Optimus and Bbee.
Someone mentioned that they saw them 9 months ago (about when they should have been released), but might be thinking of the first wave versions.

We never got the Robo Fighter toys in Australia (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=10945), so anyone wanting to complete the set (yes, that'd be me :p ), will have their work cut out trying to find these two, and at a reasonable price.

For those wondering what Robo Fighter toys were (since we never got them here), they are non-converting figures, that were about Deluxe size, with pop-out weapons like the Stealth Force vehicles. (basically the "stealth force" gimmick, but in robot mode)
The ones at the front of this photo...
http://www.toycollectors.com.au/collection/c14b3.jpg

Wave 1 - Optimus, Bbee, Ironhide, Starscream.
Wave 2 - Roadbuster, Megatron.
Wave 3 - Optimus redeco, Bbee redeco.

A big day today for first sightings in America it seems, with:
TFPrime Cmdr W3 (Ultra Magnus & Nightwatch Optimus)
TFPrime Cyberverse Vehicles (Driller & Star Hammer)
TFPrime DLX W4 (Airachnid, Dead End, Shadow Strike Bumblebee)
TFPRime Remote Control W1 (Bbee & KnockOut)

We are really falling behind on the Deluxes... we've only just started seeing Wave 2 appear here and Wave 4 is already in America.

(to help me, and others, keep track of Asian and JP releases, I want to start using this topic for future reference of when ALL TFs are released (not just US ones that we might get here)... making it easier to update the checklist, do toy reviews, and for anyone else to know if something minor has been released)

Last week we had the Tokyo Toyshow exclusives released - Crystal TFPrime Optimus, Black United Optimus and Blazing Bumblebee Micron.

Also in the last week, the Capsule Microns Wave 1 (Optimus, Bumblebee, 2x Gecko, 2x Cobra) were released in Japan, and the Legion Wave of the Asian exclusive Generations (Hoist, Thundercracker, Motorbreath/mouth, Bluestreak) were found in Asia.

Two days ago we had the Generations WFC Wave 1 (Optimus, Jazz, Shockwave) were released in Asia, and mentioned to be on their way to American online stores.

As noted by Doubledealer, JP TFPrime Voyager Breakdown has been released in Japan today.

In America, the Optimus Maximus Cyberverse Vehicle has been found today, for US$35.

So Hasbro NZ are passing on the US price rise... it means Hasbro AUS is likely to as well soon.

That brings you up to about US$27 (AU$25) for a Deluxe, which is what Australia was already at... if we get a price rise here as well, it will push our prices up another $3-4 per figure.

The American price rise is from US$12/13 to US$15... which is still much cheaper than what we pay in Australia at the moment (US$26-32), and what you guys pay in NZ (US$27).

Greedy bastards... :(

Further supporting the theory that Hasbro Australia have pretty much abandoned TFPrime in favour of other lines, it seems that we did end up getting the Gen FOC Combaticons before America, as they have just been finding them in Target stores there (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/generations-fall-of-cybertron-wave-2-combaticons-released-at-us-retail-176013/)... just not by much though (and it will still be hard to find them at most stores here).

They've also been finding (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/generations-gdo-scouts-released-in-the-usa-176008/) another size class of the Asian Generations toys - Scouts (Laserbeak, Dead End, Sandstorm, Brawl).
US$10 is apparently how much US TRU are charging, which was the price point of Deluxes only a few years ago. Imagine if that price-rise was passed on here.... who here would be keen to pay $25 for a Scout/Commander class figure.

Malaysia Airport (KL) had all the recent releases of Prime figures as well as a bunch of movie releases, the energon combiner team re-releases, as well as some third party items such as not-sixshot. Only had 5 minutes to have a quick look last week on the way past, and sadly didnt get a chance to purchase anything due to late arriving flights on the trip home.

Wave 3 Commander class of Beast Hunters (Shockwave & Starscream) is now out in America, after being at online sources for a couple weeks.
That means the four main size classes of Beast Hunters is now up to Wave 3 in America and Asia, while we haven't gotten past Wave 1.... again.

Re MP Grimlock, i cant quie tell on my phone, it looks like he has the crown (is it the same one as the Hasbro release?) sword and blaster, but no apron, drink tray and brain transfer helmet as found with MP08. Straight Hasbro version rerelease? (almost all of them appear to be recycled images) The image on the back, top right hand side looks identical to the Takara packaging version, photoshopped crown?

:D but they're using Takara's photos! :D :p So it's a TT MP08 colour with Hasbro/MP08X King Grimlock accessories
Ive read that it could be ~$220, to be confirmed

Would be nice if the flat grey was replaced with silver similar to MP-08X King Grimlock dino mode, otherwise I see no point reissuing this toy for the same price as takara's version and even more than the original hasbro version if all that is different is just box and an added crown.

Other recent sightings in America...

Construct-Bots Predaking (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/constructabots-46/constructbots-predaking-sighted-178544/) - apparently it is a Target exclusive in America, which is the first I've heard that. And apparently it has number 11 of 30 on it.
Price is US$25, and has 59 pieces.

Rescue Bots Beam-Box set and figures (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-beam-bots-game-arriving-at-us-retail-178539/) - the Box set was also just recently added to Amazon.

Prime First Edition figures are back in America (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-prime-39/transformers-prime-first-edition-deluxes-including-cliffjumper-back-at-us-retail-178546/), possibly to cash in on the release of the Finale Movie (which screened today/yesterday over there). Apparently they are even on the TRU website (not sure if they are available to us, so you'd have to check it out). The reason this is getting news on the global fansites, is because the regular First Edition Cliffjumper, never actually made it to mainstream America before. When the second release occurred, the Terrorcon version was released in America... but after all this time, most people wanting the regular version in America would have paid out extra to import it by now.

I wasn't expecting to find anything worth buying retail in HK (as I was surprised to see that TFs are pretty expensive at TRU), so when I saw the Construct-Bots Predaking advertised in the TRU catalogue as a TRU exclusive there, I looked around for it... but couldn't see it. So I asked a staff-member, and they looked out back, and found a case (of 3) and put them on the shelf. Price is HK$400 though (about AU$60), which is a lot more than their price for similar sized sets (the Triplechanger ones).
This figure/set is a Target exclusive in America... so might not be released globally or in big numbers.
They had some freebies though...
- tin carry case if you buy over HK$400 of Construct-Bots.
- a small square Kreo display base-plate if you buy over HK$200 of Kreo TFs.
- a free Beast Hunters comic (not released in comic shops) by IDW for any TFs purchase. (Details and photos will be in a news topic in the next day)

I found stuff to be pretty well-priced in HK, though some exclusive stuff was a bit high. $200 for a Hasbro MP-13 wasn't bad though. I wasn't allowed to get one while I was there, because it'd be cheaper here. Great.

griffin
14th November 2013, 01:21 AM
Compared to here, the prices seemed just as expensive... when they used to be on par with American prices a few years back.
Some examples of the HK price in AU$ (using the current rate of 6.7)...
Voyagers were AU$40 (compared to about $20 in American),
Ultimate BH Optimus AU$86
Platinum Optimus AU$120 (it was about $70 here I think)
Platinum Omega Supreme AU$150.
Platinum Ultra Magnus was AU$60 (it was oddly significantly cheaper than the other two)
Weaponisers AU$60 (these are about AU$30 in America)
GEN Deluxes were AU$22 (probably the only thing that was cheaper than here... if we got those here - but still a lot more than the AU$15 price in America)
First Edition Deluxes were AU$21.
BH Deluxes were on sale for AU$15, but they didn't have the final wave (with Prowl :( ).
Legions were AU$9. (more expensive than here - but it was interesting to see that the JP Legions/EZ were the same price)
CMDR class was AU$15 (comparable to our price, but way over the American price)
JP GTR were AU$90.
GO! Kenzan was AU$64.
The other two combiners were only AU$30 each.
Cyberverse Vehicle sets were AU$36 (which was our regular price here, compared to AU$20 in America)
Kreo combiners were AU$21 (close to our price, but again, twice American pricing)
MP Soundwave was AU$209
MP Acidstorm was AU$120
TFs Chocolate Monopoly game (found at DJs here) for AU$15 (slightly less than our price)

Basically, for anything by Hasbro, it is cheaper to import in bulk from somewhere like Amazon or BBTS (or buy in Australia as a last resort if it is available here). I just can't see any reason to buy Hasbro TFs from HK if there are those other options available. (similarly in Singapore too - it's like Hasbro US have made sure they are now the only cheap country for TFs)
But for anything from TakaraTomy, the HK prices aren't too bad.

I took about 20 photos of the TRU range of TFs (there were so many toys), but will have to wait until I get back home before I get time to process and upload them.

It was just lucky they only had two rare items that I wanted (that I couldn't get online for less).

when i was in HK last year, the only thing I found worth buying was Gen or TFP deluxes.... were about $15 . The HK dollar was a bit weaker then though, about 8HKD to 1AUD.

For those having trouble finding Beast Hunters DLX Prowl (being in the last wave, which seemed to have a limited release with the black redeco of Bumblebee - but scalpers and collectors scooped up Prowl)... there looks to be a second chance, with bonus 2-packs being found at American Walmarts (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-prime-39/beast-hunters-deluxe-value-2-packs-at-walmart-178843/), for just US$10 plus tax (which is less than half the price of two individual Deluxes in America).
Hopefully some of those filter through to the secondary market (if the Prowl wave never gets to Australia), or at least affects the scalper pricing of the Prowls already online.

The release of the second wave has been so sporadic.... probably because stores might have been having trouble selling the first wave of their exclusive line PLUS the regular figures (that aren't moving).
At the time Target signed up for them at the start of the year, they would have been told by Hasbro that a special movie was going to feature the Predacons and their exclusive line of toys.... while the regular figures would be selling off of the new 2013 cartoon episodes.

But how many large-size "Beast Hunters" toys (regular and Target exclusive) have even been in the cartoon and movie this year to sell them?
Optimus x2, Shockwave, Predaking X2, Dark Steel, Sky Lynx, Ultra Magnus, Smokescreen, black Bumblebee (but only the Weaponizer version was the right mould to match the cartoon).
That's 10 out of the 30 large-size (DLX, VOY, ULT, Weaponizer) Beast Hunters toys released this year, being directly promoted in the 3rd year of the cartoon.
In the Cyberverse sizes (Legion & CMDR) we only have 9 of the 36 figures that are in the cartoon, and look the same.

An expensive cartoon may not be able to introduce too many new "toys" each year... but they need a better balance than 19 out of 66 toys being either characters not in the cartoon, or significantly mutated versions that look nothing like the ones in the cartoon (which is a primary motivating factor of kids and fans - to get "souvenirs" of the show and characters they are fans of).
That means the stores have to rely on established fans to want to buy the other 47 toys this year, based on their own interest in the line, loyalty to those specific characters, or even interest in the Predacon theme itself (which was sooo over-rated, because we got a whole year of the theme plastered all over everything, but only 3 Predacons featured in the cartoon, and yet Hasbro spat out 25 Predacon toys for us to buy).

Green Optimus is a good example - what is the motivation for buying either of the two green Optimus toys? It was not featured in the cartoon... and is not a colour scheme one would think of for that iconic character. The smaller one has some appeal to those who want the new mould but not another red Optimus toy, but what is the point of the big expensive weaponizer one? The Retailers are stuck with trying to move it themselves if there is no TV or advertising support.
(that's why Australian Retailers didn't pick up the Generations line this year, because at ToyFair it didn't have any TV or Movie support signage on it - so they go for the uglier toys that aren't fan-favourites, because the Retailers don't have to do any work selling them... Hasbro has to do the work to get the cartoons or commercials on TV and Paramount does the work promoting the Movies)

The YOTH Starscream toy has been found (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/generations-classics-44/platinum-edition-year-of-the-horse-starscream-found-at-us-retail-179166/) at ToysRUs store in California, for US$110. That is quite expensive for America, even for TRU over there, because the original Starscream was only US$50.
Sure, it was 8.5 years ago (July 2005), but none of the size classes have doubled in price during that time, and this isn't even a new mould.

BBTS is slated for a February 1st release, which is only a few days away.

Just a few weeks after they arrived at BBTS, the Scoop/Minicon wave of Deluxe Generations have been found at a US Target store (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/generations-classics-44/generations-2014-wave-2-sighted-at-us-retail-179178/).

Which would mean they would be here soon... if we were getting the Generations line in Australia. :p

The new series of "Rescan" Rescue Bots toys have just been found at a TRU in Singapore. (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/rescue-bots-43/rescue-bots-rescan-optimus-prime-and-heatwave-released-in-singapore-179204/)

And it sounds like the Generations Wave with Rhinox and Doubledealer haven't been seen at US Retail before now, despite BBTS having them in a month ago.
They have now been sighted at a retail store in America (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/generations-voyager-wave-5-released-in-us-retail-179201/).

The wave of Deluxe Generations with Waspinator and Skids in it have been released in Canada (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/generations-2014-wave-1-deluxes-released-at-canadian-retail-179264/).
Looks like the Deluxe Generations toys in Canada don't come packed with a comic, most likely due to a requirement of having English and French... which would be too costly to produce (to re-letter and reprint in a smaller run).

Hobby Search has the Takara Tomy Metroplex discounted to 11,400 yen atm.

Shipping will probably be about 40-50 bucks on top but if you wanted this version for the two guns and the colour differences and such then this is probably the cheapest you may ever get it barring absurd luck
