The toyworld up here had a large amount of stock of Kreo up here. Sentinel was only $20. Prime was $30 and the other models were $10.

Came across these clearances at my local Big W store (Dapto), I'm not sure if this is Nation-wide or not but one thing is for sure - "Transformers" as a Toy brand looks set to disappear from my local store as only the

Just saw today at Coles Sunnybank, a staffer changing the price tags on the Hasbro Christmas Pallet. The TFPrime Cmdrs are now $11.50 (a decent price now, but just wave 1), and the Star Wars Class 1 are now $10.
The other toys on the case were probably cheaper too (because they probably weren't selling at those over-inflated prices).

Kmart have put on clearance, their OLD BotShots single-packs - $5, down from $7.

However, in some stores they have removed all the $7 tags, and not put up new $7 tags for the second series BotShots toys.
As such, the new ones are still scanning up as $7, but all the shelf-tags are saying $5... AND, in most Kmart stores, all of the BotShots are on the same pegs (old and new).
This is going to cause confusion by parents or even collectors, who buy a new one thinking it is $5... but when they try to buy it, it will come up as "BotShots Brawler" for $7.

Until this is corrected, or they sell out all the old ones (in some stores there are more old ones than new ones), they could honour the $5 price if your store doesn't have them separated and having $7 tags on the new ones... or they can legally refuse to sell the item until they get it sorted out.

Target Glendale, Newcastle has DOTM Jetwing Optimus for little less than $50. If no one gets it, I might. Prime Commanders are on clearance for about $12ish.
And yeah. Kmart Glendale has their clearances too. Prime Voyagers are $29, Prime deluxes (OP only) and FoC deluxes (UM, SS, Sides, Airraid, OP) are $19, data disks down to $10.

It's a fairly accurate reflection on their popularity. It is a shame, because the concept is awesome, execution pretty good, the rock/paper/scissors game behind it is simple but easy to understand. The price will be what killed the line. Cannot blame the stores for cutting and running from the line when they still cannot get rid of old stock at reduced prices.

Combined with the Prime toys, I wonder how badly this will hurt the chances of future lines getting stocked here, especially with limited support from a television show that less than 15% of households have access to.

In general I find the Kre-O sets and Construct-Bots are way over priced. I don't really have a lot of interest myself in the construct-bots (I've bought one or two here and there only to see what they are like) my interest is so low, I didn't even give their Botcon display more than a passing glance. Compared to the Generations display that I took a massive amount of photos of.

Coles seems to be clearing Transformers Kreos. Saw these at Coles in Burwood One in Melbourne. Kreo combiners $11.20 each. Saw Computron, Superion, Menasor and Bruticus. Small individual blind packs were $2.80, custom Kreos were $7ish and they also had the Legends sized figs for $4.80. Think these prices are what I saw but was busy thinking about the grocery basket so some prices could be a slight bit off. Not sure if this wil be available at all stores as this Coles is one of those larger ones which also stock a large range of clothes, electrical and toys.

The RID big 3-step Optimus is on clearance already at Kmart, which is their way of saying that an item is not going to be restocked once those ones are gone.
It was a one-off item, so it could be discontinued as soon as it was released... but it has been out for a lot less time than other items that are also one-off that are still at full price and shelf-warming (the bigger Rescue Bots toys).

There are probably others on clearance as well that my nearest two stores no longer stock... as the Generations Leaders were now gone at both stores.

Maybe they were so cheap (at $59) because Hasbro Australia were just getting rid of the ones cheaply that they had left and are no longer going to sell Leaders in Australia? It's not like it was easy to find wave 2 here, or many stores stocking them. BigW don't, and I only found the Leaders at one Target store and one Myer store up here... Kmart and ToysRUs were the two best sources for them, and ToysRUs stores aren't too common. That can't leave Hasbro Australia with enough minimum demand to import them anymore, especially when the focus for 2017 Toyfair will be on the Movie toys, at the expense of Generations (like in 2014).

Dunno if right place but I reported them in the vic sightings thread.

They're oversized ko's...far too large to work out of the box and the clear pieces aren't clear so you end up covering some stickers with solid plastic, mind you they're easy enough to modify just some time and sand paper or maybe some faster automated method that can shave off the pegs to fit into 5mm holes

Peter Alexander has the Transformers licensed pjs' up for clearance 40% off.
I bought the pants for $39 down from $75 from Sydney Airport PA on Monday and the lady said it should be country wide sales prices.
There weren't any of the boxer shorts left, just the long leg pants both styles and the Bumblebee long sleeve top.
Once they have been on sale for 2 weeks they will then be moved onto the DFO sites.

That didn't take long... but I'm not surprised, as the prices were way too premium for items that didn't look or feel too much better than items at Kmart or Target (for a tenth of the price).

Yeah I tend to agree but they feel good.
Wore them last night as it was finally cool enough to wear pants like that in QLD and they are pretty darn comfortable. I am sure after a wash or 2 they will still stay comfortable unlike the KMart etc ones which loose their newness pretty quick.

I saw them in the Penrith NSW store, they had at least 10 copies, and according to the website (https://www.target.com.au/p/transformers-robots-in-disguise-season-1-dvd/58674086) any store that has them should have them marked down, but they aren't available to buy online.

Whether $25 or $29. These prices surely are at a loss... Doesn't bode well for these mega 1-step toys. Grimlock went on heavy discount at clearance to move the stock. Steep RRP at time of release didn't help.

They ordered heaps of wave one, everyone got what they needed from wave 1, retailers don’t understand why people don’t still want more wave 1. They stop stocking the product. Following waves become stagnant and rare. Add in a line that will be over by the end of the year and you’ve got one hell of a recipe for stuff like this.

I presume they don’t want to lose out too much, so the clearance price isn’t very low. It’s not even the price that’s responsible for unmoving product which is the bad part. I and probably many others would happily pay $35 for a shot at Sludge, Snarl or the others.
