Twins returning for TF3?

Michael Bay tried to convince people that Megatron was not returning in TF2, and is now saying the Twins aren't in TF3... yeah, who's gonna believe anything he says now?

Anyway, from his website (http://www.shootfortheedit.com/forum/showthread.php?7279-The-Twins-are-not-back-in-T3&p=137603#post137603)is that little red herring.

And from another website are some photos snapped of a pair of Chevy Sparks, sporting Autobot symbols on the hubcaps and the Twin's colours.

Looks like the movie-watchers are finding a fair few of the robotic cast at the moment as they are being moved to filming locations.
At least GM still see the value of being involved, and they keep their familiar forms. (the twins are a new model car, but similar to their TF2 models)

So Im really confused regarding the Twins. Superherohype is reporting Michael Bay has stated they wont be back:

Then Comicbookmovie has these pics of what looks like the Twins upgraded, that or Bay has gone and gotten himself a brand new pair of twins!!

Megatron not appearing in TF2 was at least a believable claim since the died at the end of TF1. And IMO he shouldn't have appeared in ROTF (I reckon TF2 should've had Starscream at the helm (even if he was subservient to The Fallen) with Megatron returning as Galvatron in TF3). But the Twins survived at the end of ROTF so obviously they're going to reappear in TF3. Right?! (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Barricade_%28Movie%29#Trivia) :p ;)

Ratchet survived the first movie but didn't really make an appearance in the second one. Frenzy's head was cut in half in the first one but was whole in simmons basement.

The fact is that Ratchet appeared. Doesn't matter if his role is less prominent. If he didn't appear then it would raise a significant question of continuity - i.e. where the hell did he go? Btw, my comment was said in sarcasm. :p ;)

This isn't much of a spoiler for me. The twins survived at the end of ROTF, so their appearance in TF3 would only be logical. Their non-appearance would raise more questions *cough* (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Barricade_%28Movie%29#Trivia) ;)

Everyone's picky about spoilers. For example I don't mind watching teasers and trailers, but I know people who refuse to even look at those. I've previously refused to learn which characters were appearing in the films, but that made it hard for me to prepare for the toys. At the beginning of last year I started putting money aside for toys, and it worked well for the most part as it meant that when the toys hit shelves, I just went on shopping sprees grabbing everything on my want list without fear of going broke. But the downside is that there were some toys that I wasn't prepared for because of my aversion for spoilers. Luckily soon after watching ROTF I got a better idea of what was coming out and started saving up again between waves.

But yeah, I think for TF3 I'm _cautiously_ having a look at which characters are appearing so I can better financially plan ahead for buying the toys. I don't think I'll be buying any TF3 toys for the Twins though - unless they have drastically different forms. I was hugely disappointed by ROTF Preview Bumblebee -- and quite frankly I'm perfectly satisfied with my TF1 Deluxe Bumblebees. So I ended up selling my Deluxe Preview ROTF Bumblebee and bought myself a Legends ROTF Bumblebee. I don't think it's worth buying another Deluxe Bumblebee just for a body kit. And TF3 Bumblebee's mods aren't compelling me either... again I'll probably just get a Legends version. So if the Twins end up with some minor mods then I might get Legends... maybe.

This is the exact reason, why i didn't want to post pics of what could be a very major one (etc.. a certain symbol in a pic, that someone took a photo of from the set) that i would liked to have posted, but didn't.:D
