Going to Taiwan. Looking for vintage G1 (G-wan).

I'm going to Taipei for work in May. Anyone know if there magical TF shops there ala Singapore/Hong Kong/Japan?

Keen on vintage stuff but recent 3rd party stuff would be of interest too.

Taipei has at least one TRU store, otherwise see this thread for collectable toy stores, although it was fairly slim pickings when I was there. Pretty good for third party stuff though if you're into that sort of thing.

Hong Kong and Singapore are fairly "English friendly" places, but not so much Taiwan and Japan, although you can get by around Taiwan using Japanese (being a former JP colony). So you don't necessarily have to learn Chinese to get around HK and SG, but if you can learn some Japanese it can help you get around JP and TW (kill two birds w/ one stone, if you take my meaning). :)
