That's definitely a great price. Can't argue with that.

Interesting opinion. I like them because they were the g1 around when i was a kid. I still see them as vintage g1 as they werent made for collectors (like the encores). And i like that they are affordable and i like how the prowl says "diaclone" on his bonnet sticker :D
Classics while old don't really go for a lot, people will have them for crazy prices on e-bay but they never sell, I would say MISB max for Sludge $350 and Silverbolt max $250 which is still a lot more than you paid :) There are Classics collectors out there of which I used to be one, had heaps MISB MOSC but have since moved them on as I have focused on original G1. They seem to do well in the US as they weren't released there, also if you happen to travel to Japan you might be able to off load them there at a good price.
Price check
HOw much is all the dinobots worth my friend is willing to sell them to me he is saying 250 which is 50 dollars each
Misb
Reissue

Yea
You can ask in this thread here: http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=6054
How much should all reissues of the dinobots be worth my friend offered me 250
There are no reissue Dinobots, only knock offs that go for about that price despite as knock-offs the quality is not worth it.
I think there will be official reissues eventually if you are patient.
Remember that the reissue Dinobots were only sold in the 1990-style G1 gold box. If you see reissue Dinobots being sold in 1985 G1 boxes then they're fakes (and not worth paying a single damn cent for IMHO).
Anything that has an original 'red squares grid' G1 Box that claims to be a re-issue, is a knock off. These knock offs also may look nice from the outside but their quality is really bad.
An easy identifier is that Grimlock's box has a spelling mistake - Instead of "Dinobot Commander" he is labeled as "Dinobot Bommander".
Save your money.
In China atm, found the following toys and wondered if others think they're good prices or not.
1/ Powerdive (Voyager redeco of Highbrow), loose bare figure only = AU$25; didn't see the gatling guns
2/ Generations Hot Spot (Voyager redeco of Univ Inferno), loose bare figure only, missing missile = AU$30
They also had a MOSC Generations Deluxe Megatron which I really want, but asking AU$36 for it! I'll see if I can knock at least $10 off that asking price, otherwise I might as well just buy it online.
The generation hotspot on ebay is only $27 free shipping
MISB GTR Star Sabre?
around 90 plus shipping.. same on ebay as well....

What would you pay for a very good to excellent condition loose complete Trypticon these days? Are eBay prices realistic?
Cheers.
If you get lucky you might pick one up for $250. But that would be the low end of the price scale.
I'd consider waiting a bit on that one, personally.
We know TakTom was very pleased with how Encore Fort Max did, and we don't know what's coming up there, only that it's being said we'll get another big figure in the future. To what degree that is true, and who it'll end up being if true, is of course, another debate altogether.
But the two most bandied about are Scorponok or Trypticon. Rumour? Probably. We've been expecting Encore Scorponok for years thanks to that brochure from eons ago.
But it may be worth pondering, what if it is true? In that case, will I be sorry I just forked out for the original, or am I happier with an original anyway?
Food for thought. Or more accurately, food for rumour.
KO scorpy is already out - just a matter of time some scumballs start parting them out and selling the weapons individually. Could be a KO Trypticon next.
I'd be inclined just to get a Trypticon now. $300 complete with eveything bar box would be my budget.
How much is D-93 scorponok worth now?
Looking around the $400 mark complete. Like Trypticon Scorpy has seen a steady rise in recent years, and is harder to find at a cheap price. There are a few on e-bay at the moment best buy is probably this but postage is high.

What would an original G1 Megatron figure be worth these days?
I've found a guy that has a couple of them in Aus, he's asking $200 for a good condition one complete with box, he also has a loose one that only comes with the forward part of his cannon/scope that he's asked for an offer on but not sure what it would be worth.
Any help would be appreciated :)
I think $200 is about right. Really just paying more if the box is nicer etc
Yeah it does look pretty good in it's box, but I've just bought MP SW so it's a bit of money on TF's this month....
Thoughts on price for the loose Megs?
$200 for a boxed Megs  Snap it up now!!
Hey what should i expect to pay for an MP-10, hasbro or takara
Cheers
The lowest I've seen one recently is about $250 but regularly goes higher
There have been some "combo" sales coming out of China recently with different sets of two or more MP's which makes them a bit more reasonably priced. Just have to keep an eye out.
C-346 Sky Hyper - bone white but no box? :(
Yeah i ended up getting the reissue mp-10 from RK.
As for Skyhyper, around $200 maybe?
