Same here. :o
Throw your collection in my direction. :p
^Agreed. If this toy does prove to be hard to find, then spending a bit more just saves you all the time, effort and fuel trying to hunt it down locally with no guarantee of success. :)

Typed words make it difficult to attach a tone, it's all fun :D
Which comes back to square one I don't think a lot of people know what is a walkman considering from surface pics and to the usual kids today "Mum, dad....whats this robot transforming to a box with lots of smaller boxes?"
So the only people buying this are bunch of us oldies. lol
Yes, I know....it is what it is.
Soundwave transforms into a microcassette recorder, which is not the same as a Walkman.
G1 Soundwave & cassettes are pretty close to 1:1 scale.
i was showing my soundwave to my niece and she found it very funny , and had a hard time explaining what a tape and walkman are ... In an age of mp3 she found it very funny to put a tape into a walkman... I show her soundwave in the cartoon and when ravage files out from him she couldn't stop laughing....
Lol, yeah I know, while we are all excited the new gen today would think we are nuts.
Guessed not, so I guess I shouldn't care what it transform into. Just buy it because it is a mp.
I think there is a jack for it so not a biggie.
Yeah should be able to get one, me thinks, but just wait.
He is back in stock at Canada TRU but will not ship to here.

This is the third time they've restock I think. not like MP10
Paid TRU Highpoint (VIC) a visit this morning. None on the shelves, out the back & showing up empty on the computer system. They couldn't even say if the items were on their way.:(
Last I heard from a TRU is that their head office was showing them as arrived in Oz, however they had not been distributed to the stores yet.
I will keep checking...
Sigh, well the toys'r'us catalogue that just arrived only has metroplex and grimlock v bruticus (not on sale), no soundwave or acid storm (I'm guessing most already knew that?)
Checked with my local Toys R Us, they are definitely in the system and it looks like they are in Australia but none of them have hit the stores as near as they can tell. They also couldn't give me any sort of solid ETA.
Just separated the two "new" news items from this topic into....
MP Soundwave sighted at stores.
MP Soundwave available on the TRU website.
Please use those topics if you have any updates on the website availability or if certain stores now have them, or have sold out. (you can use the sightings section as well... but the first topic above seems to be useful in tracking the stores - for those people still looking for one)
Parramatta TRU saying that Acid Storm will not be available until at least tomorrow. :(
They have requested additional Soundwaves from head office but haven't received a reply yet...
Just like with MP Soundwave, I've split up and generated two Acidstorm new topics as well, to help people find info related to one or the other (online or in-store availability & tips).
I've also temporarily given them topic icons to make them stand out while they are a focal point this week.
Acidstorm in stores.
Acidstorm online.
Mp acidstorm $99 and mp soundwave $149 in Mackay toys r us... Is that the same as everywhere else?
Yes, they are.
same price but people had coupons to buy them as low as $130 or even lower
