Mate, I never tell non-TF people just how much certain figures cost :)

:DIf only I had that much warning, I just wake up on the floor every now and then, "what darling, how did you get on the floor unconcious, I don't know, maybe you are starting to have fainting spells" and you get the innocent smile and a flutter of the eyelids:D:D. The best way to defend yourself is of course chemical warfare, Baked Beans and Eggs:D, You just walk around the house leaving little pockets of nothing around, that way when they try and sneak up on you they hit one of these happy clouds, you hear the gagging and WALAH, you are pre-warned of the imminent attack and can hide until they have calmed down.:D:D
:o
Adding fart to the fire... :p
Man, Rhinox would be so proud of where this thread has turned. ;)
What's the price for Lucky Draw figures normally?
Technically free right?
Are they not "won" from an entry into a competition of sorts?
trunks is right, you don't pay for them - you win them for free!
That's how I got my lucky draw silver chrome Bluestreak! :D
http://www.geocities.com/planetsabre...comic_tc14.jpg <---cost me $0! :D
(well, I had to pay for those Jedi, but the Transformer was free :p)
*shrug* I remember benben2142 asking this question. I honestly don't know because I really have no interest in buying Lucky Draw TFs whatsoever. I won chrome-streak when I ordered Megaplex (eHobby put everyone in a random draw and they pulled my name out). So while I'm happy to receive these things for free I personally wouldn't go out of my way to pay for one. I would not pay for Chrome-Streak if I didn't have him and I have no intention of getting gold-Meister or any other lucky draw TF.
*searches for "Transformers lucky draw" on ebay*
Okay... here the search results.
Prices range from about US$250 to US$1000 depending on which figure! As our former monorator would say, "Ggrrr!"
And I thought retail prices here were unreasonable.
Yeah but to be fair these toys were never available for retail sale and non-retail Transformers will typically fetch higher after-market prices (e.g.: mail-away exclusives, convention exclusives, e-Hobby exclusives et al.).
...alas... Time Warrior will cost me a fair penny. :/
I'm inclined to agree. Fair point! Also, while we're on topic of how much would you pay...check this out

HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY?
For lucky draw figures, it's a seller's market to a large extent. Pay what you're willing to pay, I guess.
& then there are people like this guy... :)
whats the VSX WST OP V Megatron worth these days?
Not sure but this one failed to sell for $23 USD while this one's currently at $12 USD
What's a good price to get the two Movie Blasters (Prime & Starscream) for? The ones with the projectiles? I saw marked down for $30 today. Seems a lot.
Yeah, Toyworld in Southland had them for $30. Ever since seeing them at Griffin's I want them. So I should shoot for $20 then? Are they still shelf warming? I haven't seen them in a while. Are there any other projectile firing blasters?
Whats a good price on BT Wheeljack?
Some joker on ebay has one at a buy it now price of $249.99
Is that price for real? Or is he dreaming? Item ID : 170277531906
i'm sure Toyworld Southland will have them on sale back again soon.
i believe it was $15 then....
Yer I find that very annoying. People obviously set up their auctions on ebay with the intention to sell, but they take dodgy, crappy photos and expect potential buyers to have night vision / image enhancing goggles. Is it really that hard to flick on a light or take the picture when the sun is still out?
I paid $40 for my Alt Wheeljack from the UK, but it seemed the average for Alts was about $75, so BT will go for a bit more than that.
I paid $75 AUD for my BT Wheeljack. $249 would make a nice profit margin.
anything under $90US is a good price for a sealed one
