Hey, just remember you're dealing with the indisputably customer oriented bunch of nice people that came up with this idea. ;)
BBTS sent my $400 pile of loot to the wrong address. WTF!???
How could they get that wrong since they have my correct shipping address when I log into their My Account.
I've got a POL shipping in a month or two, and I've moved since my last order with them - going to try and make sure they get the address right now!
$400 is a lot for them to lose. Hope you retrieve them soon.
Fortunately, the parcel was pending delivery from their warehouse, so BBTS was able to correct the shipping address on it. The representative I emailed was quite apologetic about it since that was the 2nd issue I had with that Pile of Loot. The 1st issue was that they didn't have two Collector grade items (a carded Kubrick R2-D2 and a TRU Animated Arcee) which was in my POL even though I pre-ordered them ages ago.
So, how did BBTS respond? My understanding is that the 'Shipping Address' on the My Account page may not be the one on your viewable order if the order pre-exists the change of shipping address.
If they aren't able to make a permanent automatic remedy, then perhaps you should email them each following time you are going to ship your loot, or create a new account from scratch (since there are no benefits with one longstanding continuous account).
I had one issue with the last time I tried to ship (one item went missing during their warehouse move) and ended up cancelling the shipment, so I'm definitely going to get them to verify my loot before shipping.
Haven't broached it yet, am going to ship my POL once it's a bit bigger - awaiting some pre-ordered items first. I'll try and send messages via PayPal to make sure it goes to the correct address.
It may not be too much of an issue though, as I have a mail re-direct from the old address anyway.
Glad it's getting sorted for you though! A big chunk of change to lose.
