Nice work Roller. Fortune favours the brave!
The morbid bastard in me has a fascination with the Cold War period, especially when it comes to the USA and USSR's nuclear arsenals, and subsequently the doctrine of deterrence and mutually-assured destruction. It's been an ongoing interest for the last five years, and I finally decided to buy The Day After to see what the big deal is. Nuclear war movie focusing on the aftermath, hence the title.
I picked these up today. Recognise the top one from anywhere?Attachment 858
The missus surprised me with a (very) early birthday present...
Tickets to Ross Noble tonight!!! woo-hoo! :D
Picked up the Real Ghostbusters Season 1 Dvd set for $13. Looking forward to reliving some childhood memories :)
A 30 dollar gift voucher for EB. Now I can pay the same price for a game that everywhere else has it for normally, after using the voucher! But actually it works out well, Tales of Vesperia preorders get $20 off retail and I'll be saving some serious cash in the long run. And it was a thoughtful gift.
Got myself the set of four Kuji Club exclusive Gurren Lagann mechas the other day.
Not really sure exactly what Kuji Club is, I believe it's some sort of Japanese prize raffle lucky draw thing. There's a few other Kuji Club Gurren Lagann items that you can get. I passed up on the set of four super deformed characters and I'm not a statue collector.

I haven't popped them open as you can see, they have swivel joint articulation and each one has a piece for a build a figure Lagann.

I've got one Gurren Lagann Revoltech of Gurren Lagann itself. Sadly though it's plagued with a loose leg peg and I broke the glasses on the chest when I tried to pry it off. It's the last Revoltech I've bought and will probably be the last I'll ever buy. I'm disappointed with the quality control, all my Revoltech's (four) have at least one loose joint each.
Just got home with a new mouse; Logitech G5. I was just going to get a MX518 but the store didn't have any in stock so I decided to pay a bit more and get the G5 instead. It's about time I replaced my five year old Microsoft basic two button and one scroll wheel optical mouse.
And The Sims 3. I loved the first one to death, didn't play much of the second, heard good things about the third. So I decided to get myself a copy.

A new mouse for my computer.
A Vehicle Voltron t-shirt that I spotted at Big W this afternoon.
As a farewell present from my workmates:
Guitar Hero Metallica for Wii... my fingers hurt.
Botcon Banzai-Tron repainted as Energon Mirage is there. He's to the left of the Scourge picture. The pic of me in my undies was deemed NSFW so I'll have to PM it you.
I just want to see this t-shirt to decide whether it's worth making the long trip to a Big W to pick it up.
impulse bought a portable hard drive and a shark bean bag. Might want to rethink getting that credit card.
1:18 scale Candy Apple Red XWGTHO :D :D

thanks digger if it only had 12 sloters though :p so much better than 5 slotters IMO.
is that yours by any chance cause if it is where did you get the background from?
Nah it's not mine. I'll try to find the guy that does custom garages for you to look at.
My collection consists of US rods and muscle cars and Jap cars with about 70 of them in 1:24 scale and a dozen or so in 1:18 scale, although I do have a HK GTS, XYGTHO and a Charger in 1:43 scale.
One of my old man's mates has the most amazing collection and set-up I've ever seen in my life. A large high roofed garage fitted out like a 50's diner with I reckon about 200 Aussie cars in the 1:18 scale going to the roof in glass casing. It blew my mind when I first saw it. He also has a few 1:1 scale real rods. I'll get my dad to take me around there again and take some photos. It has to be seen to be believed.
