So is Stinger a clone of Bumblebee? Saw the big AOE merchandise display at BigW and there's a cardboard cutout thing of BB and Stinger and they are exactly the same robot apart from colour.

i noticed that also. Along with Galvatron he should be a human built/ controlled Transformer. From what we've seen he's a Huayra & not a Camaro in the movie. Maybe they use BB as base for robot mode?
It's a long time to sleep, but i wonder if the Dinobots landed here millions of years ago, took the shape of the native beasts & survived the meteor that wiped the rest of the Dinosaurs out?
The Nikko RC Helicopter is a no, not Decepticon but an Autobot according to an image I posted here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...l#post11044066
I don't like Ratchet's chances in TF4 after seeing the new trailer that's out showing him being hunted and shot at. I fear that he might be the "tragic" element that the audience is supposed to endure as a "required plot component" in movies these days. (A significant threat or assumed death can have the same effect... I don't see why they feel required to kill off a character when it is a popular one)
And Megatron fans might see some hope of a return of their beloved character, as the 10-minute preview footage has been revealed to include humans operating Galvatron by remote control... but if the source of that technology is from Megatron and Sentinel Prime, would it be a surprise if the mind of Megatron takes control of the Galvatron body by the end of the movie (to return for the 5th one).
Based on the trailers so far, I'm thinking the movie will be taking this format...
Humans hunting Autobots (destroy Ratchet), and Optimus is found by Marky Mark.
The new Human-built bots are released and help with the hunt... but just as Optimus is dealing with Galvatron, the fleet arrives with Lockdown capturing Optimus.
Drift, who is in Lockdown's army, is inspired (by honour) to help Optimus escape when learning of his heroic exploits.
To then repel the invasion and save the earth, Drift tells Optimus of the Dinobots, and they go find them.
The big battle is in Hong Kong, and when Lockdown is defeated, we are left with Megatron's mind becoming active over "Galvatron" who can now control all the human-built drones.
To be continued in TF5...
Let's see if I'm even remotely close. :p
Anyone else have plot guesses?
I think you are fairly close.
On another note, the TF4 App revealed that the big spaceship thing that Lockdown is walking away from is called 'The Harbinger Of Doom'. I had to google that but nothing TF related really jumped out at me so assume it's just a generic name.
I still miss Ironhide :( I didn't see his death coming.
I think it has been said that Lockdown does not work for the Decepticons, but maybe there is another master.. possibly Quintesson or Unicron himself. Now I do not want to see Unicron in any live action movie but that oddly shaped ship could be (in my eyes anyway) Unicron's detached hand.
I'm surprised there hasn't been much talk of a potential Unicron... to me the ship, with it's sucking action and mouth/eye looks very similar. I guess size wise it's much too small so maybe that's why. I want to see Unicron at some point in the live action films (provided they don't turn him into a space cloud like Fantastic Four's Galactus!)...
...but, i can understand why they wouldn't do it. Opening the matrix to destroy him would take a great deal of belief stretching in live action, and once they use him, it's unlikely they could come up with a greater threat for sequels.
Buying and building a couple of the Kreo sets (which we already know that the Galvatron Factory Battle set is a spoiler with the robot heads in buckets and Galvatron being built by humans), I found that the Cell Block Breakout set now makes sense of the scene in the Trailers that has Bumblebee riding Strafe.
I had originally thought the Cell Block Breakout set related to Bumblebee being rescued by Strafe, but the instructions and the back of the box show that Bumblebee is rescuing Optimus while on Strafe... which makes me think that the scene in the trailers of Bumblebee riding Strafe has something to do with rescuing Optimus from the Humans or Lockdown (after the Dinobots have been found).
It also makes me think that the Vehicons are Lockdown's minions... allowing Bay to use one CGI model for hundreds or thousands of troops. Otherwise, we don't really have any toys for the invasion army except Lockdown.
It's bad enough that we only have four Decepticons toys expected (plus Junkheap, which could well be just a publicity figure instead of a movie toy).

Not a fan of the new trailer showing a stinger "transforming" via heaps of little floating cubes. It is commonly used on tv but does not have the slightest Transformer vibe to it. Unless it is a hologramy thing my brain struggles with the concept.
I just got to opening up the Custom Kreons, and it is worth noting that Drift comes with a set of helicopter blades as his second backpack.
Now, ordinarily the Custom Kreons come with backpacks and weapons that have nothing to do with that character... they are just there for the kid to be creative, like, giving someone wings who doesn't fly.
I just think that if this was actually intentional, then what if Drift really does take on a Helicopter mode in the Movie... and why is it being hidden as if it is a spoiler? It's not like someone being resurrected or changing sides (TF2, TF3)... it's just a new alt-mode, which we saw in TF1 for Bumblebee, and it wasn't a secret.
I believe and most likely wrong, that this wolf pack are the new aliens that are trying to destroy us.
I mentioned in the Slash review thread that I think he will be our first non screen toy in hindsight, but now I'm thinking he actually will appear in the film.
I just think he will be tiny compared to the other Dinobots. The fact that he is a raptor means he won't be a lumbering behemoth like the others.
Maybe Marky Mark rides him =p
There's not going to be much left of the movie after sooo many trailers, and they are coming out thick and fast in the last week, each with something new.... and there is still two weeks left.
For anyone who didn't hear this deeply insightful interview with Marky Mark on Triple-J this morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6myEZ...pwtHmg&index=2 :D
To Mark's credit, he handled it like a pro. If it was a lesser actor such as Bruce Willis, he would have tore that guy to shreds.
Has anyone wondered whether Marky Mark will find some Master Braces in his beat up Prime? :D
R.I.P. Ratchet
I won't close this topic because people might want to refer to their previous guesses (what they guessed right or wrong), but I think that now that the movie is out, discussion about the movie (including spoilers) can now go in the review topic.
So is this how Galvatron is? I hate the fact that it transform like liquid metal format and not following all the "normal" style. Hated Bay for doing this and not utilizing Unicron to do a epic reboot.
The other crap is Joshua Joyce, how can he be a bad scientist and then decide to turn good just feels like bs to me. As an Autobot I be so pissed off with this guy for allowing the hunt down of all autobots like Ratchet and got killed and melted down so he can recreate Galvatron? I don't really buy it. His other two assistants (the sweet Asian girl and Darcy other researcher) were believable in the story.
Don't really like how Hound looks but I give 10 for his courage, please FFS don't kill him in the next movie.
Like Prime is like most of us at this stage, he is tired of saving humans which is really bringing out his trust and faith on earth and looks like he wants to go home.
As for Lockdown, it just spells Sideswipe mp will be available to Hasbro. lol ;)
For me, the movie was a wonderful experience. I found myself holding my breath in some parts, especially with what KSI was doing to Ratchet's remains. Optimus absolutely lost his shit and just stormed the building without any strategy whatsoever. Left my heart completely broken.
As far as I was aware, the Autobots' personalities were really cool! Drift being your typical samuari, Crosshairs being a jerk, Hound is loveable and fun, Bumblebee being reckless and disobediant, and Optimus being emotionally sick and tired of humanity to the point where he will shoot a human in self-defence without hesitation. The poor guy had lost faith in humanity, and yet he was willing to kill a single human just to protect Cade.
That was a real surprise. I didn't think he would do that, but he did.
Loved the movie but I still hate how the keep killing off characters.
Got to say Lockdown is a BadAss MuthaF@#$#$
So will Optimus find Unicron or Primus because to quote the movie "the creators"
or maybe the Quintessons ?
Or suddenly we get a new Earth war with Rodimus vs Galvatron.
looks like a story split.
Was thinking the Quintessons myself
In the KSI lab they say they were working from 2 heads. One is Megatron... anyone know who the other is?
(This is where the IDW comic adaptation would be handy, but we aren't getting one this time)
I didn't see Leadfoot's but they definitely had Sentinel Prime's, sans helmet
