NSW Transformers Sightings.

K-Mart Penrith had all 5 new FOC figures yesterday. Sadly, the barcodes wouldn't scan, thus I returned home with nothing. :(

Same thing happened to me at Blacktown. Wouldn't scan as it was not in the system. When I asked why it was on the shelves without having a code in the system, the clerk was quite rude and said "an idiot out the back did something wrong". I told them it had a price tag that was specific to this line, and not just a copy from the other pegs (I also bought a Prime Vehicon).
Instead of checking, the clerk just told me that the item could not be sold. I told him that I knew that these items had been sold elsewhere even without the code and he told me that I was wrong, that there was no way the item had been sold anywhere else , rolled his eyes at me and walked away.
The poor register attendant was very apologetic afterwards, but it wasn't her fault he was so rude. Needless to say I'll be placing a complaint. He was incredibly rude and unhelpful, I'd understand if I hadve been rude or confrontational, but I was calm and polite.

Ever since they put the emphasis on customers doing all the register work, kmart's customer service has plummeted in my local area, and it was never great to begin with.

Not today. I was there about midday and they only had one Air Raid and Kickback left. I bought the last Kickback. :)

I got my Ultra Magnus from Blacktown last night. It wouldn't scan, so the console operator just manually inputted the ISBN into the register, and it worked fine. I bought Kickback from Kmart Parramatta today and it scanned fine at the self serve register. But yeah, no need for the rudeness. I agree that you should file a complaint (and you might want to mention that their Kmart HAD sold at least one of those toys to another customer yesterday evening - I should still have my receipt too).

That's weird... they had no Air Raid's or Kickback's on the shelves when I went there yesterday and mknell bought the last Air Raid :confused: You sure you're talking about the Kmart at Stanhope Gardens?

The exact same thing happened to me at Blacktown Kmart (funnily enough) when Generations Warpath, Kup, Thundercracker, Scourge, and Wheeljack were released. I drove there after receiving a tip-off from one of the members here at about 10 PM so you can imagine how pi$$ed off I was when I got the same line from them. There was no way I was leaving the store without them.

I completely agree with your comments about Kmart's customer service. You normally get them saying 'If it's not on the shelf we don't have any' but even that doesn't guarantee you can purchase them when they don't scan :mad:

Kmart Casula has 1 of each of Wave 3 generations and some combaticons.
I got one Starscream!!!:D:D:D

Today early hours at Hornsby Kmart, saw one voyager bulkhead and a few primes. For deluxe class just the two foc optimus primes there. Didn't see the new wave of foc there :(

Maybe you could have tried asking them to put it on hold for you -- if you were coming back to the same store to in another few days to empty your pockets on their terms, when presumably it was scanning, you'd at least want a guarantee that it's there waiting for you.

At Stanhope they were really good about it they went and got a special barcode for me and all

Forgot to mention before, I also saw Deluxe Knock Out and Airachnid at Carlo Target and Parra Kmart too. Carlo Target also had TFPRiD Voyager Bulkhead.
