I need some scale reference. I hope they display it next to a known toy sometime.

There's more pics at tfw2005, shown next to PCC figures. each component is deluxe size and should fit quite well with the current generations line....just hope there's enough supply and affordable when it finally comes out for sale.

this just made my day
Wrecking pair or not, thanks to the custom paintjob that's still the best ROTF Devestator toy I've seen.
Insider at Botcon estimates US$80 per piece…. $480!!!!
Saw 2 Scavenger prototypes today at botcon they look good and are defientaly deluxe sized but a big deluxe not like bumblebee or g2 prime
I don't know if I love these ~$600 ish (As I understand it they're doing a staggered launch - one figure per month - so I'm factoring in six lots of international shipping there).
That's great - would you say around Sideswipe deluxe? A little bit bigger is fine (makes for a bigger combiner figure too) Also, hopefully the plastic quality and paintjob is superb too as it would be a shame if such nice molds be ruined by poor QC of material and paint. the $480 plus shipping for me is wel acceptable, not totally agreeable but hey Im still hoping there would be enough supply...and I have enough ,oolah when the time comes.

the first part is up for pre-order $77.90US - no idea which one it is though... so total $467.40
weird.. went through checkout
so either the shipping quote is overpriced for the 1 figure, or they're selling all 6 constructicons for $78 lolQuote:
TFATFCHER TFC Toys Hercules. Pre-order, release July 2011. 1 pcs $77.90
Sub Total : $77.90
Shipping Charge (Australia) : $48.99
Insurance : $
Grand Total : US$ 126.89
If that's actual shipping then this will weigh in at close to $750
Pass.
shipping cost is ridiculous.
....$750!!? I may as well wait for the full set to be scalped. And y'know fork over a kidney.
And it's OUT oF STOCK already in RK :rolleyes:
I've emailed Po asking if he can set up a pile of loot system for this bad boy so that we don't have to fork out $100+ per hit.
I'll let you know what happens!
i just preordered this along with some other figures and the shipping was only 52.99USD for 6 items.
looks like they must have corrected the shipping quotes?
Yeah, apparently the original pre-order was for the ENTIRE thing for $77.90.
On their FB page some people are whinging about it being changed to one part(about half an hour after), Po is just stating that they will be refunding the difference in shipping and sending the individual figure.
Don't worry. I've told Po that there is much interest in this but only if we don't get shafted by postage and if they can hold it until they're all complete before despatch.
Also if they make sure/guarantee that when they post "inStock" when we hit the buy now button - it really is "IN Stock" czo that's what pissed me off RK ( and a lot of others as well) in the United Rumble Frenzy incident - I get to their website at early in the morning 1-2am just so I can order and then my order gets shafted 10 days after with an email my order cant be fulfilled?!?!?! ten daaaays after then you tell me this ?!?!? after all the wait and anticipation and they claim - oh our program was working incorrectly DUUUHH!?!?:mad::mad:
lol liege
post on theyre fb
theyll remove your comment like they did another members here :P
nah never mind posting there then, wasted effort if they would remove it :p I just avoid ordering from them these days. What do they think I am, stupid. Duh, they failed to fill up orders ( group ones) so they ended up having tosend the missing ones to those - I know the Melbourne group ended up complaining about this mistake. So I guess newer orders get shafted when new supply came to fill those orders instead hence the rten days, mebbe they were thinking ... uhm we might have some left, then when it was not so, uh oh lets just pick the big groups orders again first. rasafrasabratacraps%$@$@%$#:mad: bah they loose more customers that way.
And the pre-order is sold out already!?
They better get more... otherwise Im screwed
Preorder up on bbts for $98  of course. Releasing July.
So the more interesting question is, has anyone ordered this guy/anyone will order or intends to order or considering ordering?
I'm still undecided at this point. The total price of $480 is about $80 more than what I original stated I would be willing to spend (excluding shipping).. and I am certainly more keen to purchase. But I am so apprehensive about it as to the many factors that could go wrong for an expense this large.
i.e. the quality, finish and QC of the final product has yet to be shown. Also ordering from RK is cheaper, yet they don't have a POL.... I hate that fact.. as shipping will be damn pricey for all 6 figures. I am also kind of hoping they do a giftset of the 6 after everyone has been released. I mean, logically, it would make sense as they've put so much into the 6 moulds, they would want to recoup as much profit by doing as much runs as possible...aso many uncertainties alongside huge down payment.
its way too expensive for something that has no guaranteed quality control.

EDIT: Totally forgot to mention that it is back in stock! :P
nuff said? :D
c'mon... you know you want it...;)
besides theres no 100% guarantee on quality control even with the legit HasTakTom stuff that are being released these days...ermm encore bruticus and MP-09 anyone? :p
we were thinking that we'll buy the first figure and see what its like. if its shiet, then consider it as a learning experience. but if its brilliant... well fark yeah. worse case covered.
with regards to the cost, 480 to 500 posted spread over 6 months is well less than what a keen DOTM/ROTF/Movie2007 collector will spend in even a shorter period (thats like 5 leader class figures or 10 voyagers etc...). i know that i'll definitely wont be going nuts on the DOTM line so my money's gotta go somewhere else right?:p hehehe
but seriously, it all boils down in the end to your own circumstances and what you enjoy collecting/buying. fair enough if you dont want to get these bad boys....
TFSource has it for $97, collector's grade $99 ;)
My experience is that they're always more expensive. Additionally, their stock is shipped internationally from HK, whereas RK's order probably arrives in a van :D
l
Wow! Did you buy it or is that a pic from the net?
I'd say the latter, but my oh my that looks nice. Starting to think I should find the money to buy these.
"Is your character from a cartoon?" Reminds me of Akinator in that pose! Nice! ;)
Considering RK's recent string of missing and messed up orders, I'd pay extra for the securtiy of bbts. Although I'm anticipating a gradual price increase on each figure as they're released. "Oh I've got the other five, what's another $150 US?" At least you can get them shipped together.
That is a nice pic! It looks like the guys is pretty solid/good joints.
Hmm... RK, including shipping is cheaper than the cost of the item from BBTS, although RK missing orders... I dunno, personally never had any problem myself. I will risk it.
I am leaning on getting it now. Ill just get the first one to see the quality. The EV on buying is okay. Worse comes to worse, can sell it for a minor loss, or at cost of what I paid if it doesnt live to expectations. If not getting in on it, the increased secondary market price will be too much if the fig is a hit, after the fact.
As for price increase, I can accept a few dollars difference between some of the releases.. that is all I would tolerate. Man if they jack up the last few...I don't think that would be good business to alienate their customers.
