I don't think it's damaged stock at TRU, looking at the boxes they get them in at the stores (I got a sealed box of Soundwave x2), they're pretty well protected.
I'm thinking that the damage there is from the courier company chucking them in with the rest of their orders in the back of a truck, not stacked in the corrugated cardboard boxes as part of a TRU pallet.
I'm thinking the same thing. I just can't believe they didn't put any padding what so ever. It is just such a rookie mistake when putting anything in the post. At least wrap it in bubble wrap or something. They might as well have just taped my details to the actual box and sent it that way.Quote:

Got a despatch notification at about the same time as some others above did this evening... so I wonder if there really was some left at the warehouse, and that's where they are sending this batch from. Have to wait and see I guess, what they have on them when they arrive.
I had less damage to my Platinum Predaking box, and that travelled thousands of kms with no protection - your Soundwave only travelled a few dozen.Quote:

Hey guys just abit worried since i preordered SW around the time it came up on the site and it's status is still 'Order Received'. Just wondering if anyone in VIC who preordered has gotten a dispatch notice?
I've heard of people getting theirs without a dispatch notice. However I was worried myself so I chose to go in store to grab one instead. I than proceeded to cancel my online order. A friend at my recommendation purchased MP Soundwave via the TRU AU link yesterday morning, and the parcel arrived at his doorstep within 3 hours of making the purchase. :eek:
Maybe it helps living near a local TRU.
Just got mine, yes they sent by Fastway couriers and just in a satchel, but mine is all good, also I do not get the shipping notice.

If you can afford it, keep checking the stores and buy one if you find one. That way, the online one is just a backup if you fail to find one in person... if it ever shows up.

No dispatch notice via CC (I can't even see the money has left) and it just arrived. Placed the order yesterday morning from North Ryde (NSW).

Dispatched yesterday. Looks like they sent it first and emailed me the day after.
Just got home from work and it was sitting on the coffee table. My wife messaged me a couple of hours ago to say they have arrived. I ordered two (one for me and my brother) and they came packaged in it's cardboard shipping box. The actual figure boxes are flawless. Made my coffee and about to dig in.

Got mine this afternoon in a big cardboard box. Soundwave box is flawless.
Seems to depend who's packing your order and which store determines how nice your box shows up!
I got mine in a big box, some minor damage, hard to tell if it's from the delivery.
Were you guys getting 1 or 2?
