Or release them in a boxset with one of the JP-exclusive Voyagers, and give it some sort of pun name that notes their replacement or absence by Hasbro as general release toys.

I wonder if they'd get desperate enough with the milking of moulds to redo any of the Power Core Combiner sets? I mean, given what was trotted out in that line and the current figures it would be pretty easy to do and PCC was the last real combination-oriented line of toys.
Guess the real problem is very few of those characters were particularly iconic and the limb-drones didn't even have individual names
How about a UW-09 Sky Reign with Sky Lynx as the body and as his limbs the Autobots not infected with the hate plague in the Return of Optimus Prime: Kup (Ironhide retool), Blurr (Drag strip retool), Goldbug (Dead End retool) and Steeljaw (BotCon 2016 Ravage repaint) with bonus Wheelie (Blackout repaint).
Also UW-10 Grand Magnus? Ultra Magnus (Battle Core Prime with blue rather than gold highlights), Springer (Blades retool), Sandstorm (Rook retool), Broadside (Fireflight retool) and Wreck-Gar (Deluxe Groove retool). Could alternatively have the Wheelie repaint of Blackout instead of the Sky Lynx set.
After this Titan nonsense is all over I will be waiting patiently for Micromasters to get rehashed :p
Though if we're doing this chronologically we still have Pretenders to get through first :D
Heh - non-transforming TFs seem to be part of each line now anyway, especially the movies
Think MMs have given way to Minicons. Not sure we will ever see Pretenders again, though it would be cool to finally get an Alice from ROTF
Right, Action Masters are called "Titans" now, not to be confused with Titan-class or Titan Masters. Micromasters are called "Mini-Cons".
I would like to see more Pretenders like Bludgeon, Skullgrin and Thunderwing with a transformer that incoroprates aspects of the shell and inner robot where possible. (Sky High, Vroom, Crossblades high on my wish list) Still surprised there's not been a Metalhawk toy after his comic prominence, his Masterforce fame, and the number of good customs.
But we digress.
I'd settle for Minicon bases. I just want bases back. They could even incorporate the minicon port to activate base transformation or firing of weapons. Two throwbacks in one!
That we do. So how about a CW Rail Racer? :p One new voyager, one new legend and four deluxes that are retools of each other. So cheap!
Absolutely

So where is the cheapest place right now to get the G2 CW sets?
Fingers crossed Takara Tomy don't put out UW G2 versions after I buy the CW versions.
edit: sorry, totally wrong thread, feel free to delete this post :)
Hit "Edit" and there should be an option to delete your post (unless this option isn't available to Basic Members).
Just give me a CW Raiden and I will be happy
There have been a bunch of releases of the CW Optimus/Motormaster mould and the Blackjack mould. Has Hastak bothered to fix either mould so you can combine them? I tried a bunch of combinations and couldn't get one to work.
I did a random search to see how many figures in the CW series and came across this link below.

Not too sure if someone else has posted this, but very interesting to see a G2 Bruticus,
So I heard about a Trademark Hasbro applied for from G1Optimal and decided to have a bit of a look into it:
]Quote:
Trademark Name: Combiner Force
Trademark ID: 86923603
Status Date: Mar. 03, 2016
Description: Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms
Owner Name: Hasbro, Inc.
Not sure if this gonna be a new toyline which would hopefully involve all of the non scramble city type combiners, or it is to make sure no other company tries to use the name Combiner Force. At the moment it's too early to know anything but if it's gonna be new combiners, here's hoping for Raiden, Rail Racer and every other Train combiner there is :P
Looks like we are gonna get Liokaiser :D
I honestly thought Titans Return would herald the end of the CW toyline but looks like with Computron, Victorion and now Liokaiser on the way it's still going strong :)
Anyone else super stoked that Computron comes with SCROUNGE? :D
All he did was die :p
But I like the use of the target master as his super hand.
I don't think latching onto somebody's shoulder should really qualify as a combiner member. Perhaps Shouldermaster is more appropriate? :p
Bear in mind that there were several gestalt members who transform into the gestalt robot's backside. Not even the waist, just the bum.

If robots who transform into buttocks can count as a gestalt team member, then why not a shoulder. ;)
Also, being rather superfluous pretty fits right in with Scrounge's M.O. :D
While I'd be really keen for Scrounge, my fears were confirmed with the BotCon pictures which showed that there were no new heads for any of the figures (except for Strafe who seems to have taken the entire remould budget for the set)
So I've gone with the UW set for the first time ever, and one extra figure isn't enough to justify buying two.
Afterburner has remoulds for the vehicle mould. Yeah, if I hadn't already preordered the Hasbro version yonks ago, I'd probably skip that in favour of the UW version too. :o Still, happy to be getting Scrounge. :)
Looking at CW Shockwave in real life today and comparing it to photos of BotCon Reflector, and I could be convinced Reflector would be alright - except for the gun hand. Could there be a retool planned with two fists?
The BotCon Reflector combined mode looks like a fan-mode, but seems to work as a "sorta camera"... but I was disappointed that the BotCon 3-pack didn't have one with a circle sticker or paint-app on its chest like one of the Reflectors had in the cartoon (as the camera lens).
It's amazing to realise that this is a first-year character, that only has one retail release toy (the tiny Gen-14 toy that came with Skrapnel), and just the one "proper" toy before that (the mail-order 3-pack from 1985/86).
Every other 1984 character has had multiple toys over the years... but Reflector seems to keep missing out. I guess that's what makes this BotCon version, with fan-mode camera form, a good toy.
Scrounge was a minor character in a single comic book, but served to show the severity of Decepticon rule under Straxus, and his death lead to Blaster choosing to take more significant action against the Decepticons.
Kinda like Biggs Darklighter in the Star Wars saga - minor character with significance to one of the major characters.
He's also memorable as being one of the first Transformers to actually die in the comic book (compared to deactivated even apparently irreparably like Sunstreaker) as well as being one of the first non-toy characters introduced in them.
But I think generally it's also partly because he's one of those characters who's obscure enough that you'd never think he'd ever get a new toy.
Time for the toy debut of Dipstick.
We need a rad new Reflector with a cool camera mode and a lens on one of them. If all else fails maybe Takara will release him.
2010 Legends Hubcap would probably work as a decent starting mould, there's not too many "retro" looking moulds in play atm.
But apparently no Leozack, Jallguar, or Deathcobra (not that I would expect there to be a Deathcobra, all things considered, lol) since the main body is said to be Deathsaurus.
Might be worth getting if cheap, but I can't consider that thing Liokaiser.
Makes me glad I'm going the 3P route for this one
I could go in for a Tappet, if the Dipstick idea ever came to fruition. Easy remold.
I suppose they could make the unofficial "Lynx mode" transformation official and call it Leozack, but it would only really homage the Breastmaster, not the toy as a whole. Deathsaurus is a better choice.
I'd still like to see them release an Optimus repaint as Scourge (not Grand Scourge) with Combaticon repaints for the limbs, by the name of Ruination for the combined mode. "Mega-Octane" would at least work as the name for the car/chestplate member. It might be a good way to get Takara's shuttle mould out there for the western market too.
