 Wow...that really good sketching
Wow - that is a very detailed sketch! :)
Can you please clarify if this is an actual sketch (i.e. pencil on physical paper then scanned / freehand brush tool in image application) or whether you took the new Generations Springer toy images and then applied some kind of automated filter with possible layer perspective transforms via an image program such as Photoshop / GIMP?
I ask because the amount of detail combined with the 'fuzziness' gave me the impression that it was made into a sketch from actual photos, like the way these tutorials show you:

That's some nice pencilling.
That looks fantastic.
Yeah my friend asked me the same question. It's all hand-drawn.

The orginal sketch looks kinda busy with all the toy-accurate details as I was aiming for a pseudo box art look. Much better scanned and tweaked.
that is really spectacular work.
how long did that take you?
Apart from not looking anywhere near as good, my first problem would be fitting it all on one page, I'd start in one corner and the scale would change without a doubt by the time I got even half way through.
That's wicked! And what a GREAT idea to redo G1 package art w/ Classicsverse toys! We should have a whole thread for that! :D
Sounds sorta like what Spacepet was trying to do
The photo looks good too though, as there's a bit more weight to the lines. Gives a better impression that with some inking and colouring this will be a very cool bit of at.
very awesome sketches!!!!!!!
Very nice :)
That is awesome! Your attention to detail and eye to hand accuracy is mind blowing. :)
(the tweaked version does not do your original lineart justice)
Do you have an art site link (such as deviantart) that you could share with us?
I would be overjoyed if I had only half your skill level.
I have to agree with Sam,
you're original line art has much more character.
Thanks for the compliments guys.\:D
I like the "cleaness" of the scanned version but yes the actual sketch has depth and character:)
Took me about 10 hours in total. It was drawn on a piece of A4 paper which is pretty small, so I did a rough sketch out first to check if all 3 modes fit.
Sorry I don't have deviantart. This is actually one of the few drawings I sort of completed to a presentable state in a good long while. I'd learned drawing/sketching since I was little as a hobby but stopped before entering college.
I will try get this inked but after that I'm clueless as I'm terrible with colors..
Whoa! Just simply amazing.
Wow! This is really really ridiculously good looking
