Yeah it looks like Hot rod.. If this is hot rod, i hope they can somehow also manage to make him become rodimus prime as well. something like the MP-09 but a way better functionality and details xD..
MP-09 already looks perfect for me, but if they can do just Hot Rod, spot on to the cartoon but in a size similar to the MP cars i'll be interested.
I am hoping for ther a good hotrod 3p or a decent one from has/tak
i have mp09 and to be honest its the single worst transformer i have.
Yeah mp-09 was one of the worst mp that they created...had so many complains...Hope dx9 will nail it!!
im glad i got my mp09 late in collecting, if it had been my first i probably would have stopped with it and never got any others its that bad, but i knew how bad it was before i bought it ,i just wanted a rodimus on my shelf and mp09 will do until something better arrivesQuote:

I have the first release MP-09, but i had none of the issues reported with it. It can be tricky to transform perfectly no doubt, but aesthetically it's probably the most accurate of all the Masterpieces.

Looks interesting! Don't have a MP 09 so this might have to do as the prices for the TT one are ridiculous. But in the end price is question?
Yeah I dunno, DX9's toys thus far, though MP scaled, don't have the same sort of aesthetics as the current MP's, so not sure this guy brings anything to the table for me.
That is some impressive backpack collapsing, and it actually looks really cool, but for me i just wanted an MP car sized Hot Rod, so not really interested.

Yea alt mode front looks a bit awkward and it doesn't really have mp aesthetics imo
It's a pity that everything they've done to achieve the transformation has resulted in what looks like an unsolvable issue with the chest flames, in both modes.
did anyone realise the alt mode comparison they used is not mp-10, it looks like the igear mp-1
