I wonder if that's 18 inches tall :D
If he's that big they should be able to stuff in some electronics and make him a working radio/mp3 player.
Considering he has ramps etc in base mode, he would have to have the most diverse alt-modes size wise in TF history! From a boom box a human could easily carry to a giant battle base that other TFs can drive around on and dwell in
This looks awesome!
So will the base play (or is it bass play? :D) sized for Legends or a new, unrevealed range of micromasters?
I reckon that's even worse than Broadside, an aircraft carrier is a thousand times bigger than an aircraft, but a Battle base for Transformers is MILLIONS of times bigger than a boom box for humans :p
I always would have liked to see Broadside transform into that Cybertronian jet form but as big as his Terran battleship form - that way he could have acted as transport for the other Wreckers :)
At least a base mode from another alt mode which is just a box makes some sense.
I noticed that he maybe a headmaster but with Blaster as his head, does this mean the body is a transector? That would be cool.
It certainly lines up with the line-art at BotCon, confirming the "Titan Wars", but it really is weird that Hasbro didn't use BotCon or SDCC to announce something about it.

I guess that confirms Fortress Maximus then, and the jet guy who looks to also turn into a base.
I like the base mode and the robot mode, but something seems slightly off about the boombox mode. Maybe it's just because it's a completely made up model so they don't get sued by Sony or another boombox manufacturer. Hope this means we are getting a Soundwave and Soundblaster also.
I really hope that this Blaster isnt titan sized :(
As others have said, I think this toy is simply part of the Titan Wars line, but not a Titan Class toy (just as say Combiner Wars Megatron isn't a Combiner). :)
Looks like my FoC Blaster's about to get redundant next year. :p
I like the bot mode a lot. The base mode is cool too.
The boombox mode seems a little thin though. Boomboxes are supposed to be chunky and thick. But I'll be displaying mine in bot mode, so it's not a big issue for me.
I have a feeling Blaster will be leader class with that base mode, and he was always quite tall in fiction
Anyone notice that the ramps have friction points to connect together. Getting a micromaster feel from this
I've seen plenty of 80s style boomboxes with a comparatively skinny profile, so the thickness looks about right. The ratio just looks a little off because he's not as tall in alt mode.
Anyway, I think he looks great! Are those little minicons hanging out in his base mode?
He looks ok, but I don't think I want a Leader Class Blaster on my classics shelf, I'd rather have a Voyager Blaster or MP Blaster on the MP shelf.
I like how Hasbro are releasing all these Leader Size Moulds of already existing characters (the Seekers, now Blaster and even CW Megatron) that normally aren't that size or don't fit with the rest of their CHUG display but to substitute for their Masterpiece counterparts in their MP display for people who can't afford to buy all of the actual MPs (like me :( )
Kudos to you, Hasbro.
I thought Blaster would be Voyager class, didn't even think they might make him a leader. I really don't like leaders in my Generations line figures unless the character is physically huge in the fiction like Magnus and Jetfire (yes I know scale in fiction hasn't always been great, even in the IDW verse). I would have preferred LG Megatron as a Voyager personally.
Maybe the over-sized Blaster (if it is Leader sized) is an intentional homage to the original Blaster, who was a really tall toy, almost twice the height of the Autobot cars and Optimus toys. :p
I would be all over this if it were voyager size, but Leader class is so big ( and these days simplistic), and is a price point that competes with may other entertainment options.
But a Leader class toy costs more that the typical MP car (from Japan), so it's a hard sell for me, considering the parts count. Admittedly an MP blaster would probably cost more than a Leader toy, but it would fit in a lot better.
He looks pretty rad. It would be nice if they stuck some electronic stuff in him. He's pretty blocky, so it seems doable. I'm all or baseformers, and we haven't got enough.
I am very fond of having figures who are in relative scale to their alt modes, so I am planning on using Leader class jets for my CHUG displays. Having Legends Bumblebee and Leader Starscream is almost right when it comes to how big a fighter jet is compared to a compact car.
Sorry, I missed that post. My apologies.
A new sillouette for the NYCC Titan Wars teaser has been revealed with what looks like a giant Blaster towering over a bunch of Deluxe(?) sized figures

The one on the left looks like Hardhead.
The right one has a beast mode....
So I'm guessing later this week we'll find out what toys we're getting next year
You may have seen some of the prototype pics of Blaster floating around. Here's one of the more recent ones from TFW board member doubleclouder showing a size comparison to CW UM.

Liking the look of this one. :)
Seems that he's going to scale well with MP Soundwave! :)

Put some clothes on that Soundwave!
He's only doing softcore! It's not as if he's gone the hardcore route:
