I thought Blaster would be Voyager class, didn't even think they might make him a leader. I really don't like leaders in my Generations line figures unless the character is physically huge in the fiction like Magnus and Jetfire (yes I know scale in fiction hasn't always been great, even in the IDW verse). I would have preferred LG Megatron as a Voyager personally.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

Maybe the over-sized Blaster (if it is Leader sized) is an intentional homage to the original Blaster, who was a really tall toy, almost twice the height of the Autobot cars and Optimus toys.

I would be all over this if it were voyager size, but Leader class is so big ( and these days simplistic), and is a price point that competes with may other entertainment options.

    Kudos to you, Hasbro.
But a Leader class toy costs more that the typical MP car (from Japan), so it's a hard sell for me, considering the parts count. Admittedly an MP blaster would probably cost more than a Leader toy, but it would fit in a lot better.

He looks pretty rad. It would be nice if they stuck some electronic stuff in him. He's pretty blocky, so it seems doable. I'm all or baseformers, and we haven't got enough.

I am very fond of having figures who are in relative scale to their alt modes, so I am planning on using Leader class jets for my CHUG displays. Having Legends Bumblebee and Leader Starscream is almost right when it comes to how big a fighter jet is compared to a compact car.

I know it was clarified after I posted on the 12th... but thanks for the update

Looks like my FoC Blaster's about to get redundant next year.

A new sillouette for the NYCC Titan Wars teaser has been revealed with what looks like a giant Blaster towering over a bunch of Deluxe(?) sized figures

The one on the left looks like Hardhead.
The right one has a beast mode....
