Reminds me a bit of Deathsaurus.
It's got to be Black Shadow - I wonder if the United version will skip Thunderwing for the time being and go straight to this version. I also hope there's some reference to his function being "Space Gangster." :p
I think the fellas on TFW have picked it right, as Black Shadow
Funny that we find out some of the retools when we look at the instruction booklets :p
And Sky Shadow beat me to it :p
Even down to the chest looks like Black Shadow.
black repaints are trendy
I was passing on thunderwing but man I am almost certain to pick up a black shadow if the paint apps are half decent.
The original looks great, and from the instructions, looks like black shadow will be pretty darn awesome.
True, but at least they are doing a retool/remold properly, as in the original Black Shadow was a retool of Thunderwing anyway. I think it will be awesome.Quote:

Well, according to the poll most folks here prefer to call CHUGUR "Classicsverse" - which was also what I voted for. I'm happy to call it "Classicsverse" (sure beats saying "Chugger" all the time) :)

Isn't it the opposite of strange, remoulding Thunderwing into the same toy he was originally remoulded into? :) Also, keep in mind that for Japanese markets, it's Thunderwing who's the obscure character. So for United, Black Shadow is the mould that makes sense - it's probable that was part of the Hasbro/Takaratomy plan from the beginning.Quote:
