Better to leave them out. MISB collectors no likey because you eventually have to open that sucker up or else the battery will leak.

Yep... absolutely. It's discouraging when your wife says she'd love to get nail polish in good ol' Shocky's current colour! lol

If MP Shockwave was dark purple, I'd consider him closer to the toy variant which was clearly darker. I mean the cartoon was so damn inconsistent switching between light and dark purple. A + variant Shockwave imo is just Takara having a laugh at our expense.

Looks like Shocky is getting a reissue, and the Asia version is getting a little Megatron gun:



Makes you wonder whether getting the first run is even worth it...

Seriously? When will the reissue something that actually *needs* reissuing. Like MP Soundwave. They would make an absolute mint if MP Soundwave got another run.
It just seems like a complete waste reissuing MP's that can still be bought from online stores.

Um... why are they doing a re-issue when he is still easily available on shelves and his price is going down?

Ironhide I understand as he sold like hot cakes and is hard to get now... this... not so much.

Don't get me wrong. I love Shockwave. I just think they should let his supplies dwindle a bit before doing this as now the first release will shelf warm.

Is this actually a reissue or just a variant for the non-Japanese East Asian market?

Also, MP Soundwave has been released 3 times (TakTOM, HAS, YotG).

i believe TF Asia has their own call on which they can re-release but if they really do hopefully they do Skywarp soon since it is theirs to begin with.
