Their factories can only pump out so many toys, and in 2007, everything was put on hold for the Movie toys, which they couldn't even keep up with. After the theatre-DVD 'season' ends around Oct-Nov, we should see the winding up of the movie toys, and a return of non-movie lines. Like Prime and Generations. And if we are lucky, they might still throw out a wave or two of non-movie toys during that May-Oct Movie season.

I'm sure they will be back soon enough, at any rate I saw enough toys I liked in those toy fair pics to satisfy me till they do. In non Transformer Hasbro news it looks like Hasbro is releasing some new classic style GI Joe sculpts finally so I think they have finally cottoned on to the idea of making classic remakes an ongoing part of all their toy lines (even if they do change the name of said lines every week).

Anyway liking the look of Crank Case, Road Buster, HA mini vehicles, and mergiverse Powerglide (he is a real a10!), although the best thing I've seen in the toy fair pics thus far is non TF the Cobra Techno Viper, joy!!!!!!!!

Wow, the movie line releases May 16? That's much earlier than I expected.

One of the reasons why Generations wasn't showcased at all is Toyfair is mainly for the retailers, industry and press. The retailers are interested in seeing the latest toylines for the coming year, not necessarily Hasbro presenting "more waves for stuff you already stock".

Dude, the new Human Alliance stuff is the toyline I've wanted since I was a kid. M.A.S.K + Transformers! I can't NOT buy them.

The Cyberverse stuff also look fun. I'll definitely buy The Ark.

I don't know why people are stressing that Generations is finished. Remember we were all saying the same thing about Classics, Classics 2.0 etc. It will continue, maybe just under a different name.

Generations is dead. Long live Classics 4.0
