I'm in favour of losing Bay... though they should try to replace him with someone better. I mean, I was also in favour of ditching Megan Fox, but I don't know if they've replaced her with someone better. (-_-) But nothing ventured nothing gained... give someone else a go.

Not a fan of reboots. It feels like the easy way out for me. I'd like to see a better director just pick the ball up and run with it. I know reboots can be quite good (e.g. The Incredible Hulk), but I'm just kinda sick and tired of sitting through a decade of reboots in Transformers (*cough*post.Beast.Machines*cough*)

Still... a good reboot would be better than a crappy sequel. I dunno, depends on how DOTM ends off.

Reboot with Andrew Garfield playing SamSpike Witwicky..?!?

Given it took only 5 years for Spider-Man to be rebooted, I think we could wait five years for a fourth TF movie (connected or not) to the Bayverse.

As long as the next director is NOT Ewe Boll (and I don't care if I spelt his name wrong)

    Uwe Boll.

I've seen much worse films than the crap he's pumped out. Actually I'd like to see what he'd do if given the TF franchise. Luckily that won't happen!

    I think it's a good move.

The movies are all box-office successes and they have endless possibilities for future plots/settings.

Only thing Hasbro has to watch out for is when the movie series becomes boring, then they have to either find a new way to inject more interest into it. Let's just hope they don't resort to rebooting.

Apparently Bay has just signed up to a movie project called 'Robots Vs Zombies', based on a comic series, written by Chris Ryall (the IDW editor?). That should keep Bay busy for a year or two, so won't have time for TF4 if Hasbro wants to keep spitting them out every 2 years.
