Last year there were huge delays for the registration and it did not start until 19 May (for people attending).

They planned for people not attending to register the week later (but it took until 3 June US date).

They charged my credit card the same day (4 June AUS date).

You will need your credit card as they have this rule if you've never ordered anything from the Club before:

Upon your first order, you will need to fax us a copy of your credit card, front and back as well as photo identification, which shows your signature to 817-448-9843. If a credit card transaction is made through our site without the fax confirmation of your identity, we reserve the right to CANCEL THE ORDER less the online service fee and $25 per package cancellation fee.

The Iacon pack is for non-attendees right? And that gets me a box set.

I know I'd have to get the attendee freebie from someone who went or ebay, but how would I get the other exclusives like the 2 packs they have?
Someone/ebay or am I able to order them as well?
Yes, the Iacon/Non-attendee pack gets you the box set only sent to you a month or two after BotCon.

You can't order the other exclusives. You have to be there to buy them, get someone there to try and buy them for you, or ebay them

So, I'm keen as to register for Botcon, so far this week there hasn't been a change to their website, which is the first week in a month and a half that nothing has happened.

I realise that no-one will know but does anyone have a feeling as to when registration might start? If I keep looking at the website every time I log onto a computer every day I'm going to lose it.

Last year it took until late May for registration to start for a convention in late June, so you may have to be a bit more patient.

Just remember, they will release their online brochure before registration starts, so that you know what is on offer. (which will help give a bit of warning of when registration will soon start)

    Nicely done, BigPenny.

Notable info: During the first day (24 hours) of registration, all Primus or Iacon Package registrants will receive a special Stunticon logo “first day of registration” cloisonné lapel pin.

Here's what non-attentdees have been waiting to know:

Boxed Set: The Iacon Package ($315 ppd for club members or $385 ppd for nonmembers) is for those who cannot attend the show and consists of:
    • Stunticons: The Con is On!* Convention Set: A five-figure boxed set
which includes Motor Master, Wildrider, Breakdown, Dead End and
Drag Strip, all presented in an illustrated display box. Also included
with the set is a certificate of authenticity, tech specs and figure
    weapons.
    • Convention pin.
    • Convention program with comic.
    • Does not include the bonus attendee figure.
    • Items will be shipped three to four weeks after the show to your home
address. (Use the BotCon.com registration link to order this package.

    Loose set:
In addition, 400 pieces of the five-figure
    convention set: Motor Master, Wildrider,
Breakdown, Dead End and Drag Strip,
(in poly bags, no box, no certificate,
etc) will be available for $210. Only
    Transformers Collectors’ Club Member
Primus or Iacon Package holders can
take advantage of this offer and sets

Overall, there's only a US$10 difference from last years Botcon sets (boxed set was $305 & loose set remained at $210 for TFCC members)
